PARTY GOERS are being offered a new service to help ensure they get home safely over the festive period.

Gwent police has teamed up with all five local authorities to launch Cab Safe, an initiative designed to make sure people get home safely after a night out.

Rachel Rice from Cwmbran, helped launch the initiative today.
