Craig Phillips, 36, the first Big Brother winner, says he is weathering the economic storm with his buy-tolet portfolio in Liverpool. Since appearing in Property in 2005 with his four-storey period house that he turned into four flats, he has bought two more houses that he's also converted into flats. 'I don't sell my properties. I only rent them out and demand has increased because people can't get a mortgage,' he says.

At first I thought Craig had a buy-toilet (possibly I was expecting 'portacabin' instead of 'portfolio', as the next word).

The other day I thought 'arise' was 'arse'. Not good, in any context! But the optician says the longer I can go without glasses, the better. That's all very well for her, she's not seeing toilets and arses where there are none.
