Immortalized by his role as Mr Sulu in Star Trek - and more recently by his exploits as the surprise hit of I'm A Celebrity - veteran actor George Takei, 71, is in London looking for a job.
'I've always wanted to appear in the West End and do a UK TV series,' he tells me.
'Global stardom is great, but I'm a complete Anglophile and I would love to make it big here before my final curtain.'
George has now hired flamboyant agent Jonathan Shalit, who has carved out careers for Charlotte Church, Myleene Klass and new GMTV sofa queen Emma Crosby, to secure a dream role.
