Jade Goody & Jack Tweed have to leave his Welcome Home party early

Jade Goody has reportedly helped organise a ‘Welcome Home’ party for boyfriend Jack Tweed - but both will have to leave just as the party is getting started.

Last week, Jack was released from jail just five months into his 18 month sentence on the condition that he lives at his mum’s house and obeys a 10pm curfew - a condition that applies even to his big ‘Welcome Home’ party next week.

Jade, who is currently undergoing intensive treatment for cervical cancer, is said to have helped organise the event at the Embassy club in Mayfair but she’ll have to duck out early too.

A source explained: “They both want to go along to celebrate his early release with friends but they’ll have to call it a day before most celebs would even be putting on their make-up to go out.

“Jack has to get back to his mum’s before 10[pm] or face being sent back to jail and Jade is too ill to party the night away at the moment.

“They hope to see all their friends for a bit then let everyone keep partying while they go home to bed.”

Despite my aversion & scepticism to celebrity promotion in this day & age, news from The Sun today about Jade Goody isn't good. It is reported that her cervical cancer has spread to other internal organs.

I hope now that Jade Goody steps out of the spotlight, returns to live with her family at home & gets the treatment she needs.
I hope she isn't dragged out for more media photo-opportunities & Living TV stop sticking a camera in her face every five minutes.

Hopefully, then, she will make a full recovery.

It goes without saying we all want Jade to beat the Cancer that is threatening her life, for her boys who she loves with all her heart, and the family/friends who no doubt love her.
I wish her all the best.

Yes. I know she says that she wants to keep working to provide enough money for her children, but I can't help thinking she would have been better not working and looking after herself more.

When people are ill, their bodies have to work harder to make them better and this means resting. She needs more rest to give her body a chance to mend. I think she has been trying to do too much. She must have suffered a lot in the process as well, but I think her main priorities should be to put herself first. She would still be thinking of her children, because I am sure they would rather have their mummy alive than any amount of money she can earn for them.

It's such a shame, just when things were starting to look better for her. I can't imagine what pain she must be in. I really do hope that she rests now. She needs to step back now and let other people look after her and her children to give her body a chance to recover.
