TV's Jade lifted by support

Jade Goody has been "absolutely lifted" by messages of support from people across the country as she recovers from surgery to remove a cancerous tumour.

Her publicist Max Clifford said Goody had been in tears as she read some of the "hundreds and hundreds" of emails following the op at a London hospital.

He added that the 27-year-old is still "very sore" after the successful op, but will restart chemotherapy shortly.

It's all getting ridiculous now.
I wish Jade Goody is pulled out & allowed to get her necessary treatment & recover in silence??
But you have to wonder whether her prognosis is already known & how much this is all about z-list celebrity promotion in this ridiculous day & age.
I mean, Max Clifford is the broker.
I hope for society & cancer sufferers everywhere who have no money or even the correct treatment that I am 100% wrong.

Problem is, the consensus now is that most people are uncomfortable with this 'celebrity promotion' of a person suffering with cancer.
I hope Jade Goody will get through her illness but she should do as most famous people do when then they're ill - ie remove themselves from any public spotlight & deal with things with dignity in private.
