DAVINA McCall has scotched rumours that this summer’s BB will be the last and claims the reality show can “run and run”.

The 41-year-old host – who has fronted the show since it started in 2000 – warned critics not to write if off just yet.

Davina said: “I think it will run and run. The show has a timeless quality.

“As long as it’s attracting viewers and making money for Channel 4 I don’t see why it should stop.

“Nothing gets the flak Big Brother does, which is ridiculous when you think it’s a live entertainment show.

“But people miss the point. It’s a really funny and entertaining TV programme.”

Hmmm. I've long thought that after BB10 it should be time for a break or at least a short rest.

Not forever....just a chance to regroup and assess and say 'where's this going after 10 years'?

It would be sad to think that a programme which was originally such a good idea would be allowed to limp on because of the money/sponsorship/filling the summer schedules aspect.
