Jack Tweed Sentencing 'Moved Forward'


Jade Goody's widower Jack Tweed will be sentenced today for an assault on a taxi driver, it has been reported.


Tweed was released from prison on licence in January after a separate conviction
The 21-year-old had been due to hear his fate on Thursday.
But sentencing has been brought forward by two days, The Sun newspaper says.
Tweed was found guilty of attacking Stephen Wilkins in Epping, Essex, last May following a trial at Epping Magistrates Court last month.
Magistrates warned him at the time he could be jailed for the offence, which he denied.
He will be sentenced at Harlow Magistrates Court in Essex.
The conviction was the second time in six months that Tweed, of Buckhurst Hill, Essex, has been found guilty of assault.

In September, he was given an 18-month jail sentence by a judge at Chelmsford Crown Court after being found guilty of hitting a 16-year-old boy with a golf club. Tweed denied the assault.
He was released from prison on licence in January, but wore a monitoring tag and was made to observe a curfew.

This Jack character was drunk & tried to strangle/assault the taxi driver over the fare while the taxi driver was driving at 50 miles an hour - Tweed could have killed everybody in the car.

Prison bosses are investigating after Jade Goody's widower was snapped soaking up the sun in jail.

Jack Tweed, 21, who was given a 12-week jail term earlier this month after being convicted of assaulting a taxi driver, was pictured bare-chested in a prison yard.

Jailed Tweed ‘abandoned’ by Goody’s family, pals

London, April 26 (ANI): Jailed Jack Tweed has reportedly been given the cold shoulder by the family and friends of his late wife Jade Goody.

The widower is yet to have a visit from his in-laws ever since he landed behind bars earlier this month for assaulting a cabbie.

Both his mum-in-law Jackiey Burden, and best pal Mark Wright confirmed they had not paid the 21-year-old a visit yet.

“Jack feels lonely and -abandoned. He has hardly had a visitor except his mum,” the Daily Star quoted one of his friends as saying.

The friend added: “He’s grateful for the public’s support but he would love one of Jade’s family to visit.” (ANI)
