Craig Phillips, the first Big Brother winner, has welcomed the idea of having a disabled housemate on the show, saying he thinks it could change attitudes.

Actor Verne Troyer, who at under three feet tall, came fourth in this year's Celebrity Big Brother, and Pete Bennett, who has Tourettes Syndrome, won BB7.
