Highlights from tonight's show,
DAY 18
Today is Halfwit's 24th birthday.
9:30am: Most of the housemates are in the bedroom.
Big Brother plays Stevie Wonder's 'Happy Birthday' into the house. Most of the housemates get up and start to dance.
Halfwit has been called to the Diary Room. Big Brother wishes him "a very Hippy Birthday" and informs him that the day's celebrations will have a Summer Solstace theme. Halfwit is ecstatic.
10:41am: Most of the housemates are in the bedroom. Big Brother has provided housemates with 60's hippy themed costumes. For dressing up housemates will be rewarded with one Token. Siavash and Halfwit are in the living area, the window shutters are being raised. The garden has been decked out with a Love area by the pool, a mini Stone Henge, a stone circle and a Shisha pipe by the bus stop. When then the shutter is up. Halfwit and Siavash run excitedly into the garden towards the Shisha pipe.
11:31am: Halfwit is in the Diary Room. Big Brother tells him that as part of his "Hippy Birthday celebrations" he must conduct and direct a freeform hippy performance in the garden. "Brilliant!" Big Brother adds that if all housemates take part in the performance they will receive an organic carrot cake and 2 tokens for the house. Halfwit says that this is exactly the kind of party he would have at home and sings: "we are the music, and it lives through us."
12:57pm: All of the housemates have been gathered around the Stone Circle for their performance. Big Brother has provided housemates with a selection of musical instruments. Housemates have been rehearsing their performance for the last hour. Big Brother announces that they must now start their performance. All of the housemates participate fully in the task.
Housemate will receive the tokens and an organic carrot cake for successful taking part in the task.
2:15pm: Rodrigo, Dogface and Halfwit are at the Love area talking about friends. Halfwit says that he has recently made "a whole load of new male friends." Dogface says that she has one female friend: "I just get on with guys better than girls."
Siavash, Marcus and Sree are in the bedroom. Marcus asks: "Do you think I pick on you?" Sree says "not really" but mentions Marcus singling him out during tasks. They rake up old arguments and Sree tells him to "Forget about it." Sree goes into the living area and relays the conversation he had with Marcus to other housemates.
Marcus comes to the living area and is angry at Sree for repeating things. Karly tells Marcus that he is at fault for singling Sree out before their tasks and quotes Marcus: "Sree, don't f**k about, don't do this, don't do that."
Sree list the things that upset him about Marcus including disrespecting women." Marcus denies it but Karly says: "You do it all the time to Sophie, she's not ok with it." Marcus says that "Some of you just haven't got to know me."
5:14pm: Big Brother has gathered the housemates in the stone circle. As part of today's task Big Brother has asked Halfwit to put together a 15 minute presentation about himself followed by questions from his fellow housemates. If all the housemates are present for the duration they will be given 2 tokens and some music later today.
Halfwit talks about his "strange brain." He tells housemates that he loves life and music and that his first words were Bob Marley lyrics. He says he lives by two rules "1. Survival, 2. Reproduction."
Big Brother announces the end of his 15minutes. Siavash asks Halfwit what is his favourite song. Halfwit performs an operatic aria while housemates struggle not to laugh.
7:44pm: All of the housemates are gathered around stone circle for today's continuing celebrations. Housemates have spent the last 30 minutes composing their odes to halfwit. If all housemates write and recite their own odes they will receive 3 tokens for the house and some alcohol for the group. So far, Dogface, Karly, Marcus, Siavash, Noirin, Sree and Rodrigo have all recited their odes to Halfwit.
Angel reads out a nice poem where she likens Halfwit to a brother. Charlie performs and mentions his "positive attitude," Lisa's ode mentions that Halfwit is "different adding "But like me you are free"
All housemates have successfully taken part in all of today celebrations and will therefore receive a total of 8 tokens, a cake, some music and some alcohol.
8:24pm: Most of the housemates are gathered in the living room. Big Brother has given Halfwit a birthday present and instructions to read aloud to the group.
The instructions give Halfwit the option to have his own, or Dogface's names reverted to normal, or to allow Noirin to take her pen glasses off he says "this is easy" and picks Noirin who is very grateful. Dogface looks slightly disappointed.
10:55pm: All of the housemates are in the living room. BB has been playing music into the house for 40 minutes. Angel and Halfwit are dancing very closely. After much encouragement from fellow housemates, Halfwit and Angel share a few kisses. Angel is teetotal but Charlie says: "Can you image her drunk?"
11:32pm: Most of the housemates are in the living room. Marcus tells Noirin that she is prettier than Shania Twain. Dogface agrees that Noirin is pretty. Marcus says that everyone stops him to tell him about his likeness to Wolverine. Dogface tells him that once outside of the house, women will be "flocking over you." Marcus says that they do already and tells Noirin that she can ask him out for a date once they leave the house.
12:10am: Some of the housemates are in the living room. Sree asks Noirin if she really thinks that he is a "Bad person." She looks at him seriously and says yes, adding: "I can't stand you before telling him she is joking. Sree looks unsure.
12:35pm: Some of the housemates are in the living room. Dogface is talking to the other housemates about Kris. Noirin says that she initially though Kris just wanted to be with anyone, but now thinks he is genuine. However Dogface is not convinced saying "sometimes he plays for cameras"
Some of the housemates are playing a dare game in the garden. Again Angel and Halfwit are nominated to kiss for a 10 seconds. Housemates surround them while doing a countdown.
1:18am: Kris, Karly, Lisa and Halfwit are at the bus stop talking about Dogface. Karly tells Kris that Dogface is "sensitive and open," adding: "I wouldn't like to see her get hurt." Lisa adds: "She really likes you."
Angel and Sree are in the bedroom, she is giving him a pep talk. Angel tells Sree to be strong and should stop whining all the time. She says: "Life is a fight and women like strong men" Sree seems motivated by this saying "What do I care I'm still a womaniser" as he drops his trousers while singing Womaniser.
