Highlights from tonight’s show, 4 July, 9.30pm on Channel 4
v Sree is the fifth housemate to be evicted for the Big Brother house
v Charlie is in tears over an argument with Rodrigo
v Marcus declares his undying love for Noirin
DAY 30
10:35am – Housemates have been awake for 26 minutes. Today Sree and Halfwit face eviction from the Big Brother house.
Most of the housemates are in the bedroom. Halfwit asks Lisa if they could have a “chat and a cigarette.” Lisa says ok and Halfwit goes off to make them some tea. Lisa goes out to the have her talk with Halfwit and Karly tells her: “I’ll come and save you in five minutes.”
At the bus stop, Halfwit tells Lisa that her powers of observation “Inspire me.” Lisa says that she doesn’t “dislike” him and that people think of her as “hard and scary” but she is: “Probably one of the softest people in this house.” Halfwit tells her that she should be careful of her “acid tongue” and Lisa agrees saying it comes across that was because “I’m a loud person.” She says that she respects him “Big time” for coming and talking and being open with her. They give each other a big hug.
4:01pm – Sree and Noirin are in the bedroom. Sree asks Noirin if she has any “suggestions.” Norin tells him to enjoy his day: “Have fun, you never know when your last moment might be here.”
Charlie, Rodrigo and Kris are in the garden. Rodrigo tells Charlie: You will never forget Rodrigo.” Charlie tells him: “I’ll forget you before you forget me.” Charlie tells Kris that Rodrigo is different to anyone he’s met before adding: “It’s good to be weird.” Rodrigo agrees and tells Charlie: “It’s good not to be a boring typical clown like you.” Rodrigo tells Charlie not to talk to him and jokes: “Ricardo you fool.” Rodrigo corrects him and Charlie tells him that he shouldn’t have such “strange name.” Rodrigo tells him it’s a normal Brazilian name and leaves the garden and goes to sit in the bedroom. Noirin is in the bedroom and Rodrigo tells her about Charlie’s comment.
In the garden, Charlie explains: “I wasn’t being nasty, he shouldn’t give it if he can’t take it, I just knew I hit a nerve.” Halfwit comes into the garden and Charlie explains what happened and Halfwit tells him not to worry adding “I like you most when you bring out the fun and joy in people.”
In the bedroom Noirin tells Rodrigo that he and Charlie have a “love hate relationship.” Kris goes into the bedroom and tells Rodrigo that Charlie didn’t mean anything “He was just winding you up.” Rodrigo returns to the garden and gives Charlie a hug.
4:35pm - Siavash, Dogface and Rodrigo are in the bathroom. Siavash is having a bath and Rodrigo and Dogface are taking a shower. Some of the other housemates are in the living room.
Kris and Charlie play a trick on the housemates in the bathroom and secure the door to stop them getting out. Rodrigo tries the door and realises it is locked. He shouts to the housemates to open the door and Charlie tells him that the red light is on so they are unable to help.
Siavash tells Dogface: “It’s likely we’ll die in here,” Dogface smiles and says: “Siavash, I’m not having sex with you, let’s have a threesome!”
Halfwit joins housemates outside the bathroom door and gets in on the joke. Dogface calls to him and asks about the door and tells him to swear that it cannot be opened. Halfwit shouts: “I swear on your Chihuahua’s life!” Dogface is shocked and says repeatedly: “He swore on my Chihuahua’s life!
After five minutes, Kris and Charlie free the door and Rodrigo is first to leave the bathroom. He swears to get them back.
10:15pm - All of the housemates are in the sitting room. It has been three minutes since Sree became the fifth person to be evicted from the Big Brother house.
Halfwit analyses the situation and says he had previously gone up against people who were “a bit aggressive, or a bit offensive.” He says that Sree was: “Awful, aggressive, vindictive and two faced.” Kris says that people can’t be bothered to vote Halfwit out but can understand how Sree: “Rubbed people up the wrong way” but added that he there Sree was not malicious. Noirin adds that the only word she has for Sree is “Bitch.” Marcus add: “Wait until you watch it back, he was very sure to make certain people see certain things.” Siavash says: “He’s gone, so lets just… his absence in the house will probably be felt.” Lisa, Dogface, Karly and Rodrigo sit in silence.
11:05pm - Charlie and Kris are in the garden talking about their “surprise” at Sree’s eviction when Halfwit joins them. Charlie says thought Halfwit would have gone Halfwit replies: “I haven’t done ****, I’ve been annoying to people and I’m not saint.” Kris walks off during the conversation.
12:06am – Rodrigo is in the kitchen. Charlie comes in singing. Rodrigo playfully trips him up and they begin play fighting. Lisa and Karly are at the bus stop. Karly tells Lisa that she wants to be surrounded by: “people I get on with.” Lisa says: “All the people I’ve likes, and got on with have gone.”
Noirin has come to the Diary Room and Big Brother asks how she is. Noirin says that she is “Really, really happy, I’m glad of the outcome.” She talks about Sree adding: “He wanted to be here ‘til the end and would have back-stabbed anyone to get there.” Big Brother asks her about the dynamics of the house now that Halfwit is staying. Noirin adds: “It’s not a good thing for a lot of people in the house, I can see him having a few arguments, especially with Kris and Lisa. She says the pair get “snappy and frustrated” in Halfwit’s company but adds: “They’re probably frustrated but I’m delighted.”
12:56am - Halfwit tells Charlie that he is starting to “understand” him a bit better. He adds: “there have been little moments of chemistry, I love the ambiguity in there.” Charlie reminds him not to use “Big words, I don’t know what they mean.” Halfwit come and sits close to Charlie and touches his shoulder. Charlie tells him that he thought Halfwit fancied Rodrigo, Halfwit corrects him and said that he would choose Siavash. Charlie jokes and tells him to go and sit with Siavash adding: “I won’t be a reject.” Halwit tells him: It’s not that I don’t fancy you, I don’t really fancy anyone.” Halfwit says, “Do you know how open the door is, is wide the f**k open, right.” Charlie tells him: “It could happen any time” but Halfwit says that Charlie may be playing a “Weird surreal joke on me” and questions whey Charlie doesn’t “flirt” with him anymore. Charlie explains that he only flirts when he is drunk because he is “Really shy.” Halfwit says: “There’s so much to you,” and “I think you’re lovely” Charlie replies. They sit and hug
1:51am – Most of the housemates are in the living room. Marcus tells housemates that he has saved extra cans. He says that whatever they offer him for them is a “P**s poor comparison to what Noirin can offer me.” He tells Noirin that she can sit on his lap for the can or just because she wants to. Noirin sits on Marcus’ lap.
Kris and Charlie go to the bedroom and try to find Marcus’ cans, while in the living room Marcus rubs Noirin’s side. Dogface says she doesn’t trust Kris and Charlie “They’ll be in there drinking it” she says.
In the bedroom Charlie he has found two cans and army crawls through the bedroom before throwing the cans to Kris. “******* jackpot,” he shouts as they start to drink. Karly comes in and jumps on the bed saying “What’s going on?” Rodrigo follows and asks Charlie what he was doing under Marcus’ bed. Charlie gets his can out and Rodrigo takes some drink from Charlie and says that he won’t tell Marcus.
2:23am – Some of the housemates are in the living room. Noirin and Marcus hug and she tells him she won’t kiss in the house. Marcus tells her: “F**k you then” and goes into the bedroom with Siavash. Marcus and Siavash kiss each other as Noirin watches through the window making noises of disgust. Marcus discovers his alcohol has been taken and suggests he is allowed to “punch the culprit in the stomach.” Kris owns up and takes a punch from Marcus, while Charlie denies he had any part in the theft. Rodrigo tells everyone that Charlie stole the beer too and the pair begins to argue, Charlie calls Rodrigo a “liar.” Rodrigo tells him not to start and that he is being serious, saying “Don’t talk to me, I’m not joking.” Charlie accuses Rodrigo of having some alcohol too and Rodrigo calls him “childish,” “horrible” and “nasty.” He adds: “I saw on the floor, crawling like a snake in the grass.”
Rodrigo goes outside to talk to Lisa and Charlie joins. They argue again and Charlie starts to get upset. Rodrigo says “as of tomorrow, we don’t talk.”
2:55am - Charlie is upset and has come to the Diary Room. He begins to cry and Big Brother tells him to take his time. Charlie explains that Rodrigo keeps going on at him and wants a reaction out of him “I don’t know what it is about me, I don’t know what he wants.”
Rodrigo, Siavash and Lisa are in the bedroom talking about Charlie. Rodrigo tells Siavash he has been through so much to get here and doesn’t want to ruin it over drink. He explains he is not aggressive and Siavash tells him not to talk to Charlie. Rodrigo says that Charlie “Knows how to make me angry.”
3:27am - Charlie is in the Diary Room. He has been talking to Big Brother for 32 minutes. Charlie tells Big Brother he wants to wait until the air has dried his eyes before he leaves the Diary Room. He says he doesn’t want “A big fuss.”
Most of the housemates are in the bedroom. Marcus asks Noirin to come under the bed covers and he tells her that loads of people fancy her. He tells her he likes her but this is “A surreal situation” and he respects her and feels that she likes him. They talk about the difference between friends and attraction, but Noirin admits she is still attracted to her ex-boyfriend. Marcus says she is a “uniquely beautiful creature with dignity and drive,” and explains the most he would do in the house is kiss so she doesn’t need to worry about anything else on his mind. He says she wouldn’t just sit on anyone’s lap for cider, “I’m sure enough to know that.”
4:16am - All the housemates are in the bedroom. Marcus and Noirin have been talking for 49 minutes. Still under the bed covers Marcus tells her “I think the world of you” and not just because her “face is outstandingly gorgeous or you’ve got a lovely bum.” They hug and Marcus asks for a “proper hug,” but Noirin tells him “no more kisses or hugs,” and says that she will talk to him in the morning.
Charlie calls Rodrigo over to his bed and they apologise to each other. They kiss and while hugging Charlie tells him: “I’m not a nasty person, I’ve got a heart of gold.”
