Second Hand NewsIt's one thing to tell somebody something to their face, but when you're reporting second-hand news, you have to tread very carefully indeed as Marcus found out to his peril. Kris had 'apparently' said to Marcus that he was worried Dogface might be evicted because she was quite quiet. Marcus made the mistake of telling Karly, who promptly reported back to Dogface.
"He's stirring it absolutely stirring it," said a gleeful Karly before telling Dogface she should ask Marcus about it. And she did right to his face.
"I was just asking him about who he thinks will go," explained Marcus.
"I haven't said that I think he'll go," said a clearly cross Dogface.
"Everyone's had that conversation about 50 times," replied Marcus. "He said it obviously because he's worrying about it. Everyone always thinks the worst case scenario."
"I just don't think it needed to be said," replied Dogface blankly.
Marcus tried to stop the situation getting out of hand by reassuring Dogface. "Don't start thinking silly things that ain't even happening. If someone cares about someone else, they're gonna be the most worried about them," Marcus explained. "It's not a bad thing to say someone's quiet say if you haven't had an argument with someone," he added. But Dogface was clearly up for a row.
"So I need to have an argument to stay?" she said sarcastically, before denying that she'd say anything to anyone about Kris's chances of being evicted. "Even if I thought it, I wouldn't say it," she added.
"It's just talk and speculation," Marcus tried to explain. "Everyone on the planet is gonna do it. Whether you say it , or don't say it, I don't think it really changes stuff. I think you're thinking too much into it," he added.
It aint over till its over and this one is set to rumble on.
