lol dh, anybody who hasn't seen Mr Barrowman is missing out.

Funny story actually, a friend of mine went out for dinner with a business associate or something in Glasgow and the guy asked him if it was OK if he brought his cousin who was here staying. He was like "yeah of course" so this bloke turned up and he is thinking "hmm i recognise him" so he text his wife and said "do you know of a John Bannerman?" and she is saying "what? no" so there was more chat and he text his wife again saying "he's been on doctor who or something" and she was like "John BARROWMAN?!!!" and just about collapsed ::lol:: It was as well! What a hottie.

edit: I am now thinking it was maybe a girl that was the business associate actually ${ I lose track.

Thanks rebs. No I wouldn't imagine so, I am only away a few days.

Can check my emails etc on my phone which helps as I always used to end up getting emails that had to be dealt with "now" when I was away.

has anyone braved Bruno yet?

I might try and see it tonight. Even though it's the same shtick as Borat, it's supposed to be very funny (if you aren't easily offended)

Did you go and see it dh?

I haven't been to the cinema in an age but I wanted to go and see My Sister's Keeper as I liked the book... hear they have completely changed the ending which sounds a wee bit ${

Anyone seen Harry Potter?

Does it work? It sounded like what happened kind of defeated the purpose of the story!

yes and yes

Bruno is funny and shocking, but it's not as funny as The Hangover. Also if you've seen Borat, then Bruno is pretty unoriginal

saw HP today, not bad and yet it still felt a bit lacking. I suppose it's impossible to film the books accurately, but you'd think they'd make the film a bit more ... er .... magic

Yeah it does still work Jezi as my friend was sobbing at the end of the film. She hadnt read the book and was shocked when I told her what happened at the end

Yes I agree. I think the first couple were good, the third book was my favourite I think but I hated the film, loved the fourth book and thought the film was alright, fifth was alright as well but they just lack... something.

Will need to try and see it. Roll on pay day...!

Just been to see Harry Potter - liked it!! Trouble is it doesn't really work as a 'stand alone' film, I think you had to know the developing story over the books, and I hadn't seen the last film although I had read the book, if that makes sense!

I had forgotten what happened at the end of this one - quite emotional - but obviously building up to the big finish now.

Quite fancy going to see G-Force (like the A Team with cartoon guinea pigs) ::lol:: And 2012 with John Cusack.
