Marcus should have his own slot on Fox News for all the half-truths he spouts.

He covers all the bases where Noirin is concerned. Marcus KNOWS full well that Noirin only sees him as a friend, he'll even admit this (in the DR) and to the other hms.. but ALSO adds she gives him 'reason to hope' when he's alone with her, and that's the only part of the conversation that sticks, it seems.

Marcus then steers Noirin into situations with what seems like n innocent,friendly request but which ends up looking, to all and sundry, like Noirin is giving him reason to hope.

Like the back painting, for example..when Marcus was talking to Noirin in his 'soppy on, little boy lost act' we heard Noirin tell Marcus AGAIN she only sees him as a friend and..out of concern for him she told him he shouldn't talk the way he does to her for fear viewers might think he's 'a bit soft' - or words to that effect. However, to on-lookers who didn't hear what she said, it looked like Noirin was encouraging his advances.

I recall the other night Noirin, in a conversation with Marcus, telling him that Lisa told her 'not to trust him' - well, lo and behold, we see Marcus sat with, of all people, Lisa - telling her the details (from his point of view) of his situation with Noirin. Now, why would he do that? To convince Lisa with half-truths that Noirin is as he claimed and re-enforcing it by setting up the back painting - or, give Lisa and co reason to nominate Noirin instead of him or Freddie? I'd say a bit of both.

Either way, job done, cut to Lisa telling Karly and Charlie and in the DR saying Noirin is leading Marcus on.
As Marcus said to Freddie; 'Noirin has no where to run in here'- which amused them both no end!. Marcus is making sure Noirin has no body to run to but him, when he's not making Noirin doubt other hms he's making other hms doubt Noirin.

As for Noirin, going by what she said about Marcus to BB in the DR, she sees him as; a guy who has a crush on her who is aware from her telling him the feeling is not mutual... but at the same time...he is kind to her and the only real trustworthy friend she has in the house.

Now, wouldn't it appear rather churlish of Noirin to refuse a supposedly innocent request for, or offer, a hug now and again.. from her most trusted ally in the house?

I'm guessing the reason Marcus was outside on his own for a couple of hours on Saturday nights live feed was, he was planning and scheming how to break up the friendship between Noirin and Rodrigo - he's already started that ball rolling when he said 'Rodrigo is being used by Lisa'. In his pursuit of Noirin, Marcus has both present and future eventualities covered, it seems.

One simple solution for Princess Noirin: say no. No to massages, no to back painting, no to cuddles and hugs. Simples. So why doesn't she do it?

Ok Bunny, try if you will, looking at it from Noirin's perspective. As far as Noirin is concerned, she's made herself clear to Marcus and in the DR that she sees Marcus as her very good friend, a sweet guy. So, why would she refuse to offer or receive a hug from someone who is her best friend and ally in the house.. and leads her to believe he knows exactly how she feels about him.?


Rodrigo was painting Noirin's back first, why would she then refuse to let her best friend paint her back? Asking her to open her bra strap was, I'm sure, seen by her as a reasonable enough request as he was painting most of her upper back.

Perhaps you missed Noirin telling Marcus 'no more massages'? - as from what she was told by Lisa; things like that could give the wrong impression. I can only imagine Noirin sees a hug as innocent enough and something that can't be taken out of context as all the hms do it to each other.

If Noirin was aware what Marcus is really up to and how he talks about her behind her back she would have nothing to do with him, I'm sure. Unfortunately, in the house, only Freddie and Siavash have an idea what Marcus is up to, but haven't (for their own reasons) as yet informed Noirin.

The only person who doesn't know Marcus's real intentions is Noirin - she sees Marcus as her only 'trustworthy' friend in the house because Marcus; has her convinced with half-truths, and examples of hms doing exactly what he warned her about.

Also, in the context of the game - a hug now and then, some flirty banter, would, I imagine, be considered by Noirin (or any hm) a small price to pay for keeping an ally onside. it's the devious way Marcus goes about getting all this that is the issue here.

I'll even go as far as to say - now that Noirin is up for eviction, watch Marcus up his 'mind games' on her, in one form or another.

Marcus is no friend of Noirins's friends don't play on your emotions to gain trust or hugs, Marcus does though.
I have watched the live feed and he has done nothing but diminish her over and over again. He told Frfeddie and Siavash he has felt her up when she is drunk that Sophie also sits on his lap for drinks but as he is not interested in her he does not care if she does or not.
he believes Siavsah fancies her and he was doing it to rub his face in it, imo.
Freddie is aware Marcus is using Noirin and is not brave enough to tasay it to him.
suffice it to say Marcus is a lying backstabbing big time player in the house, and if i were Marcus or freddie I would be watching him like a hawk.

I think if Noirin was aware of Marcus's deviousness she would kick him to the kerb, but we must remember Marcus is displaying a very controlling manipulative personality and lots of females have been under the influence of people like him and have friends/family telling them for years that they are being used.
We must also remember when Marcus is telling other housemates that he does like Noirin and if he can get her into bed he will but he will not be bothered if her doesn't, he is not telling her that.

Puh-LEASE! One simple reason why she acts as she does: she is as manipulative as you claim he is. You carry on as if she is some little innocent girl from the country. She's a 25 year old Dubliner who has had relationships before. She knows exactly how to play this game and she is playing it for all she is worth

Give us the names of the housemates she has manipulated.

MARCUS Akin has said he knows Noirin Kelly would drop him if it would help her in the house.

It is her association with the prick that is her downfall in the house.
The hairy housemate joined Siavash Sabbaghpour and Freddie Fisher in a two-hour bitching session about the Irish beauty yesterday.

Freddie told the pair: "My gut instinct was not to trust her. And I ignored it because she's very sexy."
Oh get a pair of balls Freddie and stop acting like love-struck Tory boy.

Siavash warned 35-year-old Marcus he would not be pals with the retail manager outside of the house.

"I know you won't be friends with her when you watch the show back," he told the window fitter.
Does he think Noirin would want to be friends with him or Marcus when she watches the dirty work they did on her.
Marcus agreed she would "drop" him if she thought it would help her win the series.
No Marcus it is you who is the user in that relationship

Noirin is using her ex boyfriend as a barrier to keep the creep in his place. As for the bra - Noirin never took her bra off she opened it.

Au contraire - Marcus asked if he could paint Noirin's back, Marcus asked her to open her bra so's he could paint her back, Marcus asked Noirin to sit with him under the duvet (Noirin uses her own duvet) - Noirin has never asked Marcus for a cuddle. Noirin does indeed tell Marcus through all this 'I just want to be friends with you, nothing more'. Noirin only ever said she MUST still have feelings for her ex as she never stops talking about him in the house.
These are the true facts and are on video - as a matter of interest, where do you get your facts from by the way?

And to all of that Noirin could've said a firm and unambiguous no. Why didn't she? Because it suits her to keep Marcus dangling.

There are no "facts", only interpretations thereof.

It would seem from the HLs show that she may have decided to drop her toy for the time being.

A more effective barrier would be the word "no", a word that seems to have vanished from Noirin's vocabulary. Strange that, because she's not shy about gobbing off any other time, like when she is dropping fellow HMs in the shite.

Why would she say No? - to a hug, to sit with him (under separate duvets)...or paint her back, all seem like innocent enough requests on the surface, from her 'best friend and ally in the house' Marcus. And during all of these incidents - when Marcus goes 'soppy on her' Noirin tells him she only sees him as a friend - her only friend and ally in the house as it turns out, Marcus has made sure of that.

Never mind the edited h/l shows, it's viewers, like me, who watch live feed... who see and hear how Marcus has worked behind the scenes to make sure he's Noirin's only friend, Noirin doesn't know this - as far as she's concerned Marcus is a good friend and ally who happens to be a bit 'soppy on her'.

I concede there are no 'facts' but there is plenty of recorded evidence.
