The House was in for two surprises last night, when not one but five new housemates entered through the door. And Karly was evicted.

While the new residents settled in, Big Brother treated them to some champers. Bea and David talked about their secret mission and developed their plot to get Halfwit and Noirin nominated. David said that he will distance himself from Noirin and Halfwit, and complain about them. Bea doesn't seem too keen on the idea, but David adds "We're saving our own skin."

Noirin told Dogface that they should stick together, as two of the three original girlies left in the House.

Bea and Halfwit bonded over their love of music, festivals, peace and free love. Luckily Halfwit didn't even mind when Bea spilt her champagne on him.

Dogface told Kenneth she was surprised about his appearance and personality because from everything she heard about him from Karly - she thought he would be geeky.

Marcus gave Noirin his lowdown on the new housemates. They both agreed that they like them all apart from Tom. Marcus said that he saw through Tom's gameplan in 20 seconds. Marcus said Tom was only hanging around Charlie because he thought Charlie would win. He also said Tom was trying to attach himself to Noirin and Dogface. Noirin said she always agrees with Marcus.

Bea went to the Diary Room to speak to BB and she told Big Brother she was delighted to be in the House and that she thought she would be a really good housemate. She went on to say that she may not play her role in the secret mission as she does not want to be part of someone's demise.

Feeling Bad

So it's nice to know that not all the new housemates have hearts of steel. Bea and David found a quiet moment in the Garden away from the other housemates to discuss their secret mission. And Bea is finding it considerably harder than her fellow new, icier housemates.

Discussing Halfwit, Bea clearly had some issues with the mission.

"I get on really well with him," she declared, worriedly.

David took no time in agreeing, "I love him, I think he's amazing." He then quickly reminded her that it was just a game.

"This show is about being yourself," deep-thinker Bea replied.

"It's only for a couple of days," David informed her.

"I'm not being myself," she told him, worriedly. "If we fail it we're up anyway aren't we? It's up to the public. I think if you're representing yourself genuinely and you come across as a nice person, you're safe anyway."

David did his best to alleviate her concerns. "They are not going to judge you, you were told by Big Brother. That's the game."

But Bea wasn't having any of it. "There is no point in having a game plan. My game plan is to be myself. If people don't like it, then vote me out."

David then showed his best steely side as he advised her. "Do the task, I know it won't be nice, I'm having a go. Just complain about them."

Then Bea finally started to crack. "There is probably a way of being clever about this," she deliberated, "maybe they'll both be nominated anyway."

"That would be really lucky," David agreed.

Lucky...or just wishful thinking?

Heatbreaker

It's great when the housemates get a chance to stick together and hope the best for one other. But that doesn't happen all that often. And more often than not, sniping is the order of the day.

As was the case when Kenneth, Lisa, Charlie and Dogface were all hanging out at the bus stop today.

The topic being discussed was Noirin - and how her attention was now firmly on the other housemates...and not on devoted-Marcus anymore.

"Marcus is really feeling it," sniggered Dogface.

Lisa, not one to mince her words, found it highly amusing, "Other People around her...I'm loving it."

"He's in a proper grump today isn't he?" Dogface continued, "He keeps snapping at her."

"He can't always be **** of the shop," Lisa reflected thoughtfully.

"He's got a bit of competition now hasn't he?" Dogface added in hysterics, "He was the stud of the House before you lot came in...he was a right heartbreaker."

Ahem.
