Earlier today Halfwit learnt that only he was responsible for the outcome of this week's shopping Task. The Aphrodite Challenge, the Kebab Chef Challenge, the Stavros Flatley Challenge and the Changing of the Guards challenge were all cover stories for the real Task:

Halfwit had to select an opponent who would beat Marcus, Kenneth and Tom in their respective challenges.

At least two of the opponents he selected had to win their challenge in order for housemates to pass this week's Shopping Task and win a luxury budget of five pounds per head per day.

Big Brother told Halfwit that if he revealed any details of his secret shopping task to anyone, he would fail this week's Shopping Task.

Big Brother 10: Love is in the air

So Marcus is desperately trying to keep his alpha male status since the newbies have entered the house - and he's just about holding on through sheer determination and intimidation. Question is, how long is it going to last.

He's so threatened by Tom - and he has every right to be. A guy who's more attractive than him, more ripped than him, and looks like he has Noirin's interest.

In fact, where Noirin's concerned, Marcus has taken to chasing her around the house to make sure she doesn't get away. He can't leave her alone. Just back off, Marcus, you're getting on everyone's nerves now.

Someone who has backed off quite considerably since Tuesday is Kenneth. He actually showed a softer, less arrogant side yesterday. Not sure how long this is going to last, but it's good to see all the same. Might still have to vote him out though.

Two people we simply MUST keep in there are Bea and Freddie, just to see if they get it on properly.

They make such a lovely couple and seeing them snuggling up in bed together was so sweet.

A few weeks ago who'd have thought Freddie would be seeing some action, and now here we are, watching him turn into a bit of a lothario. I knew it was worth keeping him in there.

Last night's scriptwriters deserve Pulitzer Prizes, Nobel prizes, and Orange awards...no-one since Shakespeare has written anything so enthralling.

I take back any comparison with Eastenders. This had the lot. Daring. Cunning. Heroism. But mostly pathos.

Let's just run through it for those who missed the live feed during the night.

The World's Most Dangerous Man, used to being guarded by the Triad at its most ruthless, needs a hiding place.

He is cunningly hidden in a place no-one is watching and he should be safe from prying eyes. BB!!!

Shopping Stewards

It's amazing how something as inert as the weekly shopping list can kick off all manner of conflicts and conspiracies. In fact today's tightly budgeted food list was the catalyst for all sorts of gripes and gossip.

While Noirin, Tom, Marcus, Halfwit and Charlie sweated over the blackboard, Rodrigo wasn't happy that certain decisions were being made without him. "Seventeen pounds on milk. And I don't even drink milk!" he grumbled to Dogface in the Bedroom. "So I want something else."

The pair went into the Garden to complain to Lisa, who had given the shopping list a wide berth.

"Noirin thinks she is the boss," said Rodrigo.

"I know," agreed Lisa.

"After what they did with nominations, I don't trust anyone," continued Rodrigo.

"It's terrible isn't it?" said Lisa. "We know what's right and wrong. As you can see, I'm hanging back."

"You can see people's personalities change now there's new people here," spotted Dogface.

"Now I understand why you were away from the group the other day. Before I thought, why is Lisa staying away? But now I understand," Rodrigo told Lisa.

"You find out everything eventually," nodded Dogface.

"I say, don't follow the group. Do what you think is right. If I go in there to do the shopping, I'll kick up, I'll argue," Lisa told them. Just then David joined them.

"Tom said he doesn't care about the shopping, but he obviously does and he's sitting there trying to take over it all. When them guys do it every week."

A bit later Rodrigo told Noirin he didn't think her taking over the shopping and ordering things without him was fair.

"We all have to sit and decide together," he stressed.

"We did. You were there," she reminded him.

"It was not a group decision," he grumbled as the pair looked cross with each other.

And it's not just Rodrigo who's noticed some problems with the group dynamics.

"Since the new people have arrived you can really see how much more greedy people have got, how lazy, how much more smarmy, how much they'd rather let it all happen," Marcus told Noirin in the Kitchen a while later.

Wonder who he could mean? And is this the beginning of yet another Big Brother division?

Shes probably done the same as last time, asked for smokes and said she will only eat lentils and beans like last time So of course she isnt involved in buying food, which like last time she will eat anyway.
