Arlene Phillips could be poached by Sky to star in a programme that aims to rival Strictly Come Dancing.
Miss Phillips, 66, is being lined up as a judge for the competition, Just Dance, which will be fronted by Davina McCall.

Rachel: It'll be tough for Alesha

Rachel Stevens reckons that Alesha Dixon will find her new judging job a challenge.

The former Mis-Teeq singer, who won the fifth season of Strictly Come Dancing, will replace choreographer Arlene Phillips on the judging panel, where she will give her opinions alongside Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood.

"I think it will be a tough call for her because Arlene's been on the show a long time," Rachel said.

"But she's been given a great opportunity and she loved it and won it, so I'm sure it'll be good. I think it's great."

Strictly Complaints

Nearly 300 viewers have complained to the BBC about Alesha Dixon's first time as a judge on the latest series of BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing.

But the corporation defended the singer against the 272 people who felt former series winner Dixon had performed poorly in her new role.

"We are delighted with Alesha's debut performance as part of the judging panel," the BBC said.

Another 441 viewers complained about her replacing Arlene Phillips.

Choreographer Phillips is now dancing expert for BBC One's The One Show.

The total number of complaints about pop star Dixon joining the show has now reached 4,107.

The majority of that number complained about the change of judges when the announcement was made in July.
