All so true because it would really make sense now why they cancelled the eviction because for sure either Marcus or Noirin would of gone.

Mind you she has also confessed to being drunk earlier, but IMO someone would have to be very drunk to pull Siavash bless him so it must be his personality or something else Im completely missing.

Are BB sending Marcus to the bog now on purpose to try and get him to see Norin and Siavash.

Re Rodders DR.. He probably wanted a new DVD to watch while in his hideaway with Hira

It was very (in)convenient timing wasn't it! Don't think he ventured that way though, which is a good job unless they wanted to change the series to CSI: BB.

Siavash said something about 4 weeks he's been feeling like this. And BB didn't pick up on any of it?! Either Siavash/Noirin played a blinder in keeping things secretive or there's some mass incompetence in the BB edit team (I'm guessing the latter).

I can only imagine Sophie/Charlie aren't aware yet as they'll be shoving each other out the way to shit-stir with Marcus when they do.

Davina's going to go into gurning overdrive when it finishes on S&N on tomorrow's show.

I think Davina probably keeled over, her face locked in one of her gurn positions.

Friday night, will she even be able to stand?
---

I did read the rumour that they were already an item when they came in, but I guess not. Its just that siavash is now being rather bad about his 'other girlfriend' on the outside.

Its always the quiet ones.

Calrissian: so much for Thursday

Apart from the Noirin and Siavash relationship I want to know why Bea was worried about Marcus? Tom seemed to trying at least to warn Noirin about how she is being perceived - went ove her head because she was too busy fending off Siavash's wandering hands. @^@
It seems like Charlie had to tell Lisa what Noirin said the other night, unlike Noirin Lisa's reaction to the news was more mature
Charlie was implying from what I saw that it was only Noirin who made any comments about Lisa when in fact Marcus, Bea and Siavash were there at the time. Bea actually said she thought Lisa would go on Friday if she was up.
Marcus and Siavash once again didn't stand by their soldier in the argument, Noirin doesn't seem to realise this fact, maybe Tom will have a chat with er and point this out to her.

Tom seems to be ready to spill some secrets. He told Noirin that Bea is an actress and not to be trusted, and suggested Noirin have a chat with Sophie abot Marcus. ()^

Noirin and Siavash - The Snog!

Big Brother likes to surprise the housemates. Sometimes it's a nice surprise. Sometimes it's not such a nice surprise. On this occasion it was the latter and it was a little something for Marcus and Marcus alone.

So, when Big Brother delivered the weekly shopping supplies, there was an extra surprise gift – Big Brother had built a nice cosy little jail that was just big enough for Marcus. He languished in there until about 3am, when he was finally allowed back into the Bedroom. And it was probably a good job he was out of the way for so long, because there could have been a 'duel' going on.

A 'duel' you ask? Erm, yes. Between Siavash and Marcus over dainty damsel Noirin. Marcus has obviously still got the hots for her – why else would they argue all the time? Now, after separate visits to the Diary Room, Siavash and Noirin have both confessed to having strong feelings for each other – something they've managed to keep hidden quite well. Until last night, when they finally succumbed to passion and kissed.

That's right, they kissed.

What's Going On?

Even though Big Brother has announced to the outside world and the housemates that there won't be an eviction this week, it hasn’t stopped them speculating like crazy on the evening ahead. So, within minutes of waking up, talk turned to whether or not someone would go tonight, or even make a grand entrance.

"I still think something's gonna happen tonight though," said Noirin.

"Yeah," agreed Tom, "something will happen – it'll be something interesting."

A New Lisa Life

The housemates may know that there's no eviction, but that didn't stop Lisa from asking Big brother for the hair clippers so she could have a quick trim. Big Brother agreed, but took the opportunity to quiz Lisa about how she was feeling.

"****** off," said Lisa looking glum.

Is it too late for Channel 4 to revive Big Brother's fortunes?
What can the programme-makers do to reignite the spark that made previous series of Big Brother a success?

There have been stories about Big Brother going off the boil before. But it seems that 2009 is the year when viewers fell out of love with the reality programme that kickstarted a genre. The programme may still have a strong core audience, but it is the first summer I've spent in an office where there hasn't been even a mutter of gossip about Big Brother since it launched. Mark Lawson has been arguing why that might be in today's G2, and crucially, he thinks, eight years is about as long as a successful entertainment format can expect to hold the public's attention.

Which leaves Channel 4 with something of a problem. Not only is this BB10 – but there will also be a BB11. This year's Big Brother might have failed to capture the imaginations of both television viewers and the press, but the broadcaster has a deal with the show's producer, Endemol, for another series next summer. In other situations, the broadcaster could quietly dump a series that wasn't performing. Here, Channel 4 will have to try and make the best of it.

Moving Big Brother off Channel 4 and onto E4 might be one solution – as happened with last year's Celebrity Big Brother - although that feels more like brushing the problem under the carpet, or at least slightly out of harm's way, rather than tackling the question of how to reinvigorate the format. But what are the other options? If people are choosing to avoid the housemates' antics this year, what can Channel 4 and Endemol do to tempt them back?

The show is no stranger to stunts and gimmicks. This year ex-housemates were sent back into the house to celebrate the show's 10th anniversary – and also, one presumes, to reignite the spark that had made previous series into ratings successes. But do the programme makers have a stunt big enough to save BB11? And how would you suggest Channel 4 went about making next summer's show less of a washout than this?

My starting point would be the housemates: anyone who had made any attempt to be famous before Big Brother would be instantly thrown out, and only those who failed a special Big Brother: the past 10 years quiz would be allowed in. That way, there would be the smallest chance that the housemates might be actual, interesting people rather than fame-seeking missiles that will stop at nothing to get some press coverage. And – this is maybe reflecting the fact I am no longer in my 20s, let alone my teens, here – I'd also make them a bit older.

But if Big Brother has failed to capture the attention of the nation's teenagers and students in the way it first did in 2000, then there are only two ways for Channel 4 to play it. Try to encourage a new audience to engage with what is now an old format, or try to win your original audience back. The return of the ex-housemates appeared to be a nod in the original-viewer direction. But that didn't really solve the problem that 2009's batch of housemates were still in evidence.

I may of course just have rosy-eyed nostalgia for the good old days when I didn't find screeching people locked in a house extremely irritating. Everything seems better in retrospect. But do you have any good ideas for reviving Big Brother? Share them – for a genre-defining programme, it would be fitting to see it go out on a high note next year. And at the moment, that seems a bit unlikely.
