Yesterday housemates nominated for the eighth time.

Afterwards, Bea and Halfwit got chatting. After Halfwit left the conversation, Bea told Noirin and Siavash that she found him sleazy and that he'd annoyed her. She told them that she and Halfwit had had a conversation about free love, but that Halfwit was just ‘randy'.

Siavash went to the Diary Room to talk about his relationship with Noirin. He came to the conclusion that he will not talk to Noirin about their situation. Instead he will wait until they have left the House. Siavash confided that he thought Noirin was confused and didn't know what she wanted, telling Big Brother that if Noirin tried to bring their relationship up, he would tell her not to talk about it.

Siavash also said that he wanted to talk to Marcus but felt there was nothing he could say.
Later, after a particularly uncomfortable 14 minutes sat in silence together, Siavash tried to strike up a conversation with Marcus, but Marcus reacted by saying that he was not in the talking mood, and that tomorrow might be better. Siavash apologised and told Marcus he loved him.

At bed time, Siavash and Noirin got snuggley under the covers, and there was a fair bit of sub-duvet movement.

Thaw Point


Now this is awkward. Marcus and Noirin have been skirting each other since Noirin has been getting it on with Siavash, and since Marcus told Noirin she wasn't his friend anymore. Strong words. But then there's been some strong feelings involved with these two. Unrequited love on Marcus' side, perhaps, but the pair did strike up a friendship, and it looks like after a few difficult days, Noirin wants to repair the damage.

Marcus was sprawled across the chairs in the Garden, covered with a duvet, and Noirin came over to join him. After Noirin gingerly started chatting about Big Brother, Marcus finally cut to the quick.

"Are you happy?" he asked her, dispensing with pleasantries and pointless diplomacy.

"I woke up in a bad mood this morning. I'm trying to keep busy," she replied. "Are you?

"No," came his deadpan response. Marcus didn't budge from his spot, flat on his back in the chair, eyes closed. He wasn't about to make this easy for Noirin.

"Why?" she asked.

"Lots of reasons," came his reply.

"Do you still hate me?" she ventured.

"I don't hate you," he said, still not moving. There was a pause more pregnant than Davina in series 7.

"Are we still gonna do London??" she said, but Marcus didn't say a word.

"Maybe," he said. "Why would you want to?"

"Why would you not want to?" she responded. The old answer a question with a question trick.

"Cos you don't treat me like a friend," he said.

Holding her chin in her hand, she explained to him that she'd come in the Garden to talk to him, to try and get him to help her clean the Bathroom, so they could spend time together. Yeah, that's an invitation that's definitely gonna work.

"You're an idiot Noirin," said Marcus, eventually cracking a slight smile.

"You're an idiot," she said smiling back, before moving in to touch his hand.

"Are we friends?" she asked.

Marcus didn't give her a straight answer, instead saying: "You chose to drop me as soon as the next thing came along, as soon as Bea and Tom came in."

With the first steps made, the pair began an epic heart-to-heart, with Marcus insisting they move onto the decking under a duvet together, and explaining to Noirin everything he thought she was doing wrong and what had happened to their friendship. Noirin sat and listened obligingly.

"I'm sorry if I upset you," she said as they finally shared a huge make-up cuddle.

"I'm sorry for the way I've been," he said. But Marcus clearly had one thing on his mind.

"What's going on with Siavash?" he asked.

"I dont think we should talk about that," she said. But Marcus began a full-scale assault on her burgeoning romance.

"I think if you were on the outside you wouldn't get a look in," Marcus told her. Noirin continued to listen as Marcus pulled apart her personality, her romance and everyone else in the House.

"You're an idiot Noirin. You're an *******," he said, half smiling. "I should hate you but I don't."

After more chat, Marcus suddenly said: "I wish you fancied me. It's amazing how much you listen to people just cos you fancy them." Noirin said nothing. But Marcus tried again.

"It felt nice holding you. Do you feel safe around me?" he asked.

So was he being a true and honest friend, or is this the ramblings of man paralysed by love? And what is she doing sticking around to listen to it all? These two, we just can't work it out.

SHOPPING TASK: Tiny Dancers

It's Tuesday, so that means there's a new Shopping Task to give housemates the chance to get off a basic budget.

Today they'll be limbering up to become mini puppet pop groups - performing Take That's Could It Be Magic and Girls Aloud's smash, Something Kinda Ooh.

One housemate will be chosen by the rest of the group as the leader of the Task and they will be required to do twice as much work as everyone else. The housemates will divide themselves into a boy band and girl band and perform as tiny miniature dancers, with one person controlling the body and a pair of little legs, and another performing as the arms.

The leader will become a member of both bands, and must learn both performances. The final performance will take place in a specially built miniature stage with typical band costumes.

Housemates will be judged to have passed or failed based on how well they managed to follow the set choreography by a viewer vote right here on the site tomorrow. So watch out for the video then...

Poor Marcus. Unrequited love is a killer.

Poor Marcus, being exposed as a shifty stalking creep can kill off any hope of being taken seriously.

Naming Convention

The housemates have been given their Task for today and the dance moves have yet to phase them. In fact, they've been more concerned with finding a name for their groups, deliberating for almost half and hour and coming up with something that really ought to have taken 30 seconds. Talk about making heavy weather of it... Louis Walsh doesn't have these problems, surely.

Most of the housemates were gathered around the dining table, shouting out ideas.

"Can we call the boys Sexy Boys Rocks?" asked David excitedly. "Girls Are Quiet?"

No-one acknowledged his ideas, with Marcus and Lisa grabbing hold of the discussion and steering it their way.

"Madame loud? Mad And Loud?" suggested Lisa to a room so quiet you could almost hear the proverbial tumbleweed rolling through the room. "Something really funny that even Girls Aloud would laugh at."

While the rest of the housemates were caught up in the excitement, shouting out a confusion of crappy suggestions, one housemate kept his eye firmly on the prize.

"We have to get this one. We really have to," said Siavash, reminding them that if they muck it up, it's yet another week of basic shopping.

"Take This? Not Take That, take this," said Charlie, happily. Well, at least that's the boy band's name sorted. But the girl band was still proving a nightmare.

"What about big sister?" said Marcus

"No. Something 'Aloud'," corrected Lisa.

"Chicks?" said Hira.

"Yeah Chicks Aloud, I like that," said David, although it was unclear whether he really did like it, or just want all this suggesting to end.

"It's a little bit ****," said Marcus. "It's a little bit boring."

"Girls Proper Racket,"said David, "I like that." Is there anything you don't like David?

"It's hard isn't it?" said Charlie.

"Get It Out?" asked Lisa

"Sex On Legs?" asked Siavash.

"It's got to be really crazy. Lets do something ker-azy!" suggested Hira all of a sudden.

You Can't Bea Serious

What is it with Bea. Ever since she's been in the House she's made a point of chucking out conversation curveballs, spoken nuggets designed to do nothing but shock and startle. You might think that's ridiculous, you might think it's funny - either way, it doesn't look like it's about to stop any time soon.

Coming into the Garden for a smoke with Siavash, out of nowhere Bea hit Siavash with a killer.

"Siavashhhhh," she whined, "I want to be your girlfriend. Tell Noirin to go away. I'll be a better one."

Siavash gave an awkward giggle, but played along, obviously hoping it was a joke.

"You'll cook things for me? And let me touch you?" he chuckled. But Bea didn't look like she was laughing, staring into his eyes.

"Yeah," she said.

"You leave the House you never know what happens," said Siavash, as David came to join them.

"Don't you think we'd make an awesome couple?" she asked David. "Don't you think I'd be better for Siavash than Noirin?"

David rolled his eyes upwards.

"I'd be a better girlfriend for Siavash than Noirin," she said. "I'm gonna tell Noirin, back off. Back off *****."

Charlie joined them and everyone smiled, unable to tell whether Bea was on the wind up or not.

"Look at me. I'm perfect for you," she continued. Bea pressed on with her suggestions of great couply things they could do, but Siavash looked unconvinced.

"Yeah but I think risking a great friendship that we have, it's too close," he began, before they both started to talk about his romance with Noirin.

"You still picked the wrong woman Siavash," said Bea, deadpan.

"If only you'd come in from the start Bea," he joked. "But you have Freddie and I have Noirin. And we have this friendship forever." Then Siavash suddenly looked really awkward. "Oh god, let's stop this joking. They can make it look like we are talking seriously."

Bea looked at him. "I am talking seriously. I've never been so certain in all my life.

Is she stirring the pot, or is she serious? You decide...

Forbidden Love


The Noirin/Siavash love-match has raised more than a few, um, eyebrows since the pair came clean about their feelings for each other. But so far, they've been so wrapped up in their love bubble that others' opinions haven't been able to burst through. Until today, that is.

This morning, spurned Marcus set to work on Noirin, gently but pointedly giving her all the reasons why Siavash wasn't real, and how he wished that she fancied him. Visibly confused, it wasn't long before she talked about it with Siavash.

"I asked Marcus if he was going to have a talk with you and he said he didn't want to," Noirin told Siavash. "Just try anyway, no harm in trying."

"That brought me down," said Siavash.

But she had plenty more to tell. "Marcus said the reason Tom left was because of me and you. He said we're shallow, selfish."

Siavash looked stunned. "Is that what he said?"

"And that the only people who are real here are him, Freddie and Rodrigo. I feel sorry for Marcus. I like talking to him and I don't like to see him on his own," said Noirin.

"Noirin, I've come to this conclusion there are a few people who are not happy about me and you," said Siavash as he paced around the Kitchen. "Don't let what people say bring you down. Obviously there's Marcus. And Freddie and Bea. That's what I think. They don't like the idea."

"I'm so confused," sighed Noirin. "I don't know who to trust. I do like talking to Marcus and he does make sense. Then I talk to you and... I don't know what to believe."

"Noirin, don't listen to people. You're very confused and it will make you more confused," advised Siavash.

"I feel like an idiot," she said.

"I'm in a really good mood, let's stay in a good mood," he said. "I was hoping me and Marcus would be in the same group, build some bridges. That didn't happen."

"I'm real indecisive and I don't have a clue what's going on. People can sway me," said Noirin, suddenly becoming decisive. "So I'm just gonna be Noirin and have fun."

"Rock and roll," nodded Siavash.

Have they hit a rocky patch? Or will love conquer all?

SHOPPING TASK: TINY DANCERS
For this weeks shopping task housemate will become miniature versions of pop groups and perform the Take That hit 'Could it be Magic' and Girl's Aloud smash hit, 'Something Kinda Ooh'.

Housemates have chosen Marcus to be the leader of the task. This means Marcus will be required to do twice as much work as everyone else.

The rest of the housemates have divided themselves into a boy band and girl band and perform as tiny miniature dancers, with one person controlling the body and a pair of little legs, and another performing as the arms.

As the leader Marcus will become a member of both bands, and must learn both performances.

Each group has been given a DVD player with a breakdown for their bands performance. They will also be given rehearsal costumes to practice with.

The final performance will take place in a specially built miniature stage with typical band costumes.

Housemates will be judged to have passed or failed based on how well they managed to follow the set choreography by a viewer vote on the Big Brother website, www.channel4.com/bigbrother.
