Oh dear! I expect some people will be caught. There are lots of emails around like that unfortunately. I would never click on a link in an email and then enter my login details, but I am sure that some people do.
Actually, in Thunderbird (and probably in Outlook as well), if you hover your mouse over the link without actually clicking on it, it will show the real URL you are being taken to, which may look legitimate unless you really study it and then you will probably see that part of the url contains a domain name.cn or .in or .ng or something (which stand for China, India, Nigeria etc for anyone who doesn't know)
