After Marcus, Siavash and Halfwit's misbehaviour and the removal of the luxury food by Big Brother as punishment, the House has been pretty quarrelsome.

Halfwit shrugged the lost luxuries off, telling Marcus that he was ‘easy come easy go' when it comes to the food rations in the House. They both agreed they didn't care about the basic budget this week.

But, understandably, the rest of the housemates didn't see it that way and a disgruntled David spoke to Lisa saying that the rest of them shouldn't have been punished.

Bea and Halfwit talked about Marcus at the Bus Stop. Bea said she had received no apology for the row over fag-gate, and she told Halfwit that him being a ‘mediator' was not necessary or appreciated. Halfwit responded by telling her she was more judgmental than she thought and Marcus was more defensive than he thought.

Marcus asked Rodrigo how he was, and a rattled Rodrigo replied "How do you think I am, Marcus?" The two talked about the rule breaks and punishment and Rodrigo commented that he would say sorry but Marcus defended his actions. Dogface then joined the debate and likened Marcus to Rex in BB9, saying he was "acting like an idiot." But, Marcus remained unrepentent.

David went to the Diary Room and talked about Marcus being disrespectful to Big Brother, and said that Siavash and Halfwit were clones of Marcus.

Halfwit and Bea had a heated debate. It started as a discussion on ‘negativity'. Bea told Halfwit his mediating was ‘verbose, self indulgent', and that she thought he was bored in the House and that was why he tried to look for ‘kitchen drama'. Halfwit denied searching for drama, and said that he was trying to promote positivity and understanding between housemates.

Bea told him ‘you're not the person you like to think you are'. Their discussion continued, with Bea telling Halfwit that they were going round in circles. He accused her of ‘guilt-mongering' the entire day. She denied this and said she was ‘deeply offended' by the insult and that she had done nothing wrong.

Halfwit went to the Diary Room and said that Bea was so beautiful when she entered the House but looked ugly today.

Soon after midnight Bea confronted Halfwit and told him to get off his high horse. Halfwit apologised to Bea but she didn't respond. Later in the Bedroom she told him that if she wanted psycho-analysing she wouldn't have come into the House, and that it would be "better if you be quiet." Halfwit rolled over and closed his eyes and Bea got up and left.

Bea then went off to rant about Halfwit to David, Lisa and Charlie, who were in the Kitchen making tea. Nothing new there then.

Do we take it the love affair is over?

What is not mentioned in this post is the hand Marcus had in the argument between Bea and Freddie, why I wonder?

The Hardest Word

After the milestone in mutiny that was displayed yesterday by Siavash, Halfwit and Marcus, it was no surprise that there were rumblings carrying on this morning - and not just rumblings from empty stomachs over the lack of food in the Kitchen. Most of the carping was coming from Charlie, David, Lisa and Rodrigo in the Garden as they discussed Halfwit.

"I think he's going to start being a lot nicer to people over the next few days," said Charlie.

"He really hurt me last week by saying in front of everyone that I got rid of Kris and Karly," added Lisa.

"How much are you betting that he'll start being really nice now?" said a gossipy Charlie not noticing that Halfwit had come into the Garden and was approaching them.

"How's it going?" said Rodrigo, clearly still cross. "I went to the Kitchen and there was no food. Don't you feel guilty?" he demanded of Halfwit.

"I was about to say I'm really sorry about yesterday," said a penitent Halfwit.

"When you act in a way that's bad for yourself is one thing," Rodrigo continued, "when you act in a way that will prejudice all the group, it's different," he added, looking happier that Halfwit was listening to him.

"I know. I understand that and I'm sorry. I really ****** up yesterday," said Halfwit.

But Charlie was suspicious of Halfwit's motives and accused him of only apologising because Bea had told him to.

"You don't have to be so cynical," replied Halfwit. "It's my own words, my own feelings. I did feel provoked," he added recalling his fallout with Big Brother, "but next time I won't rise to the provocation."

And then it was Lisa's turn to have a go. "If I'm up for Eviction, will you stop saying that I'm gonna go the next time?" she told Halfwit firmly. "Will you stop talking about me like that/" she added. "I know you want me out - it's obvious. But I'm sick of hearing you saying that I'm out every time there's an Eviction."

"Fair enough. If I've got you wrong, then I'm really happy that I've got you wrong. I don't have it in for you, I really don't," Halfwit offered.

"Okay. Sorted. It's a new day today," said Lisa finally.

That took some guts Halfwit...
