The Usual Suspect

Last night the housemate-least-likely-to-nominate threw a spanner in the works for the third time by refusing to nominate yet again. And Big Brother punished the naughty housemate in question - Siavash - by awarding his nominations to Charlie and Sophie. Cue a huge row in the House.

After hours of robot dancing in the Living Area this morning, Rodrigo and Sophie have taken a short break to talk it all over.

"We are not producers, we are housemates - not here to change the rules of the show," said Rodrigo, still annoyed with Siavash. "We all nominate people we get on with. He wants to be Mr Nice Guy."

"I seriously think I'm gonna go up [for this week's Eviction] against Marcus and Siavash," said Sophie, looking worried. "I haven't got a cat in hell's chance of surviving against them. I reckon I'll go this week."

"No!" barked Rodrigo dismissively, as though it was up to him.

"I just feel sorry for Siavash," said Sophie, who was the only one to take his side last night.

"Last week he did something, the week before he did something..." Rodrigo reminded her. "And he keeps doing the same. He said 'Big Brother doesn't want us to follow the rules'."

"I just think it's fair when we don't know who people vote for," Rodrigo continued to gripe. "He was planning votes - this many for this person, this many for that person. He's studying too much the situation."

Suddenly Sophie changed the subject. "David said to me on the bench, 'Did you nominate me?'" she revealed. "And I went, 'Yeah'. And he's not spoken to me all today. He's like 'I'm not bothered, I'm not bothered', but he's not speaking to me."

"He's not speaking to me," said Rodrigo, before telling his own story. Apparently he hid David's bowl of cornflakes in a cupboard this morning, and David was not impressed. "'Rodrigo, I'm not in the mood to joke!'" concluded Rodrigo in a fairly rubbish impersonation of the hungry housemate.

"He's in a funny mood," nodded Sophie. "He said he's not bothered about going up for Eviction, but obviously he is."

Or maybe he was just really looking forward to those cornflakes?

Those pesky housemates have broken out of the House and into the camera runs.

After Big Brother announced that the housemates were being 'boring', they took it upon themselves to make a dash for the secret camera runs and run amok.

They were only gone a few minutes but what a time they had!

There's a video coming so check back shortly to see the break out...

It's been a slow day in the House, and the housemates were all lounging around practically in silence when it was announced that Big Brother was bored of them. They were informed that if they did something entertaining, they would get a reward. And boy, did they take this on board.

Ten minutes later, the housemates broke out of an exit in the Garden and ran riot around the camera runs, squealing and hiding from security staff.

Returning to the House, having been sternly reprimanded by Big Brother, they were on a high.

"I didn't wanna go back!" beamed Charlie, out of breath.

"That was ******* brilliant!" agreed Siavash. "We've seen humans! Rock 'n' roll!"

"I went up the ladders!" boasted Marcus.

Charlie was impressed. "What's up there?" he asked, agog.

"Er... just a loft," replied Marcus. Anti-climax then.

"How funny was that, please?" gushed Charlie, still on a high. "They were announcing that we're boring!"

Siavash got further than anyone else, actually getting out of the camera run to the outside area before being sent back in.

"You could've got a McDonalds or something," Charlie informed him. "I think if I was out, I'd just carry on running."

"There's one person guarding every door," explained Siavash.

Marcus seemed to think Big Brother owed them something for the break-out. "Where's our ******* reward?" he crowed to nobody in particular.

"I think we'll get a punishment actually, not a reward," replied Charlie.

Who knows.

The Truce

Having avoided each other for most of the day, Rodrigo and Siavash have finally buried the hatchet after last night's row.

"You OK Siavash?" asked Rodrigo, wandering into the Bedroom.

"Yeah, doing my nails," explained Siavash, lounging on a bed in his android costume. As you do.

Rodrigo launched straight into what may have been a prepared speech. "The thing is, we have different views. You are a person who don't like to go with other people's rules, and I am a person who goes with the rules. That's the conflict. This is why we are here, because we have different views," he said, looking a bit flustered.

Siavash nodded in agreement. "I told you that's what I'm like. I don't know why you were surprised."

"It is not possible to not have conflict when people have different views," Rodrigo continued. "We will not change our minds, so the only thing to do is just enjoy our last Tasks together."

"Yeah, we've been friends for 12 weeks," agreed Siavash. "It's a shame to not talk."

But then he took the opportunity to reveal his real reasons for not nominating. "Can I just say, I do not not nominate because I don't have reasons and I find it hard and I love everyone," he said somewhat confusingly. "I didn't nominate because I want to go up. If the public want me out, it's another chance for them to get me out. If I go to the final I'll be like, the public wanted me to be in the final. I'm not doing it to be nice to anyone - I'm doing it for me."

As Rodrigo listened, looking a bit perplexed, Siavash added, "Fair enough, you don't want to break the rules. You find it easier to nominate rather than break the rules."

"Rules are important in the House," Rodrigo told him. "Because if it was not the show I wouldn't be here."

Yep, Big Brother doesn't invite them all in just to make themselves comfortable and not vote all summer, you know.

But Siavash simply replied, "My rules are more important to me than the rules of the show."

Heading out to the Garden after the chat, Rodrigo told Sophie, "[Siavash] is a really nice person. We have the same experience together and we need to keep in contact."

So the argument is over - but apparently Siavash is keen to put the public to the test by getting nominated this week. Has his plan paid off? He'll soon find out, as nominations will be announced later today...
