Yeah, think Craig is a good guy, but he could have been advised better during this series. But everybody plugging a book has to do PR - whether they like it or not.

All the past series winners for BB11 will never happen.
Maybe something for charity regarding all series winners, possibly related to BB.

The rumour has been for a while that BB11 will be a shortened BB including BB 'all-stars' - that's going to be a matter of opinion!
What's the betting that Nikki from BB7 turns up? Put your mortgage on it.

I thought I'd be more bothered by the news, but the truth is I'm past caring about the show

last year was the first time I didn't feel guilty about missing an episode of the show. Which has led to me barely watching this year's run.

I think the show could survive a few years on another channel (ITV2, some Sky red button thingy), but I think it's had it's day.

the writing was on the wall when even the Daily Star weren't interested in running BB stories on their front page, which they had been doing since BB3

heck even The Sun started to look down on it

I stand by what's written in my signature, the show lost it after it jumped the shark

Agree, DH76, and you'll be pleased to know that Ally Ross, the most acerbic TV critic, points out your jumping of the shark moment today in The Sun.

Jade Goody's gone - a complete tragedy - but I think Big Brother lost its way because of the hype regarding Jade Goody(who was actually pretty awful on BB3) and the incessant pandering to z-list media & all those people who operate in it, thereafter.

It's no surprise that millions don't watch Big Brother anymore, but millions more seem to watch middle-of-the road talent shows like Strictly Come Dancing, Dancing on Ice, The X-Factor & Britain's got talent. That's because the mainstream viewers who watch in their millions are middle-of-the-road. And Channel 4 trying to appear trendy and appeal to the young isn't for them.

I think it would be better if it didn't last so long.

I actually really enjoyed the 'Celebrity Hijack' series, maybe because it was different and a new format, but there were a good bunch of housemates, all talented for one reason or another and all young (not sure if that makes any difference to it or not). They were not your usual type of housemate, having been sought out by BB for being talented at something and probably not the sort to apply normally. It didn't last too long and having different celebs in control brought fresh ideas and humour to it.

Unfortunately, the press ran it down before it had even started and so it didn't get that high viewing figures, which may also have been due to it being on E4.

I can't believe this 'story' has been so hyped up. I was in a meeting yesterday morning and when we stopped for a lunch break, there were 27 missed calls on my phone from telly & radio folk and newspapers wanting comments and so on.

It's August. There's nothing much happening. Our local news tonight ran a story about how long grass had overgrown a footpath...

I think we all saw this coming but I am still a bit sad, mainly cos of how BB have messed it up for the last few years.

There is talk of a BB with best of hms and that fine by me but only if they do it at the celeb BB time. I would like one more chance at a proper BB with fresh (not dry run rejects) hms, great tasks and not outside interfence.....

.....about as much chance as a snowball in hell

Davina speaks DA TROOT! Mind you, I think the rot started setting in after Fight Night, which was when they started restricting the booze and intervening whenever HMs got a bit lary with each other. Prior to that, I remember watching BB3 where the HMs were almost constantly p*ssed as farts and screaming at each other. Not my favourite series, but those were the days... :-(
