Thousands queue for chance to be in final series in Big Brother

HOPEFULS from Bolton joined thousands of wannabes from across the country in a desperate bid to appear on the final series of Big Brother.

Some arrived as early as 5am to stake their claim at the front of the queue outside the Manchester Central Convention Centre yesterday.

Many said they were inspired to audition because it was their last chance to appear on the hit reality TV show, as producers have announced that this will be the last series.

Scots Big Brother star Cameron Stout admits he’s dreading a summer without the show

“It’s the end of it as we know it but there is no harm in having a break for a year or two and seeing it change into something else,” he added.

He went on to say that he wouldn’t have even entered under through today’s audition-based selection.

The shy Christian said: “When I applied, there were months of application process and seeing psychologists.

“Now the initial contact is an open audition and I’m one person who’d never roll up at open auditions, but it was quite safe to apply on paper.”

Tomorrow is the last chance for would-be housemates to make it onto the show as two-day auditions begin at the SECC at 8.30am.
