Singer has never tried illegal substancesDiana Vickers has become more aware of drugs now that she's moving in showbiz circles.
But The X Factor 2008 finalist says she's not interested in experimenting with illegal substances.
‘People have offered me drugs,' says Diana, 18. ‘But I've never tried them. And I'm very proud of that.
'I see people around me who are off their head on ketamine and I think, "Look at yourself, you're an absolute mess."'
Diana insists her mother has helped her keep her feet firmly on the ground.
‘I'm definitely not a diva,' she tells Fabulous.
‘My mum always taught me that you get what you're given, you eat what you've got on your plate, you say thank you and you wash it up yourself. That's always stuck with me.'
Diana's debut album Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree is released today.
