Judge To Stay With Strictly

Head judge Len Goodman has said he has no plans to leave Strictly Come Dancing.

The 66-year-old admitted that he would not quit the show as it would upset his 93-year-old mother.

Goodman told the Daily Mirror: "She would really smack my bottom if I said 'no'. She's a huge fan of the show.

"She's always telling me off for this, that and the other. If I'm nasty to a couple she'll phone up and vote for them!"

Goodman added that he will only leave the show if producers decide to get rid of him.

He said: "I'm not going to be here forever, am I? If they ask me I will definitely be coming back. But I do understand they like to revamp things and tweak it."

Goodman is also one of the three judges on the US version of the show, called Dancing With The Stars.
