Big Bro Brings Back Live Feed‏

THE BIG BROTHER PRESS OFFICE

BIG BROTHER BRINGS BACK LIVE FEED & GIVES 1000 FREE PASSES TO FANS

Channel 4 is to bring back 24 hour live streaming from the Big Brother House for its final series which starts on June 9th. The move will give viewers the ultimate reality experience, literally enabling them to follow the action in the house as it happens, around the clock.

Live streaming of the house (see notes below) will be accessible via the official Big Brother site www.channel4.com/bigbrother. Viewers will pay a small fee to access the footage; 49p for a day pass; £1.99 for a week pass; and £14.99 for a season pass for the whole 13 week series. The money generated through the sales of passes will cover some of the costs it takes to run the streaming.

As a nod to the fans who have watched and supported the show for the past ten years Channel 4 is giving away 1000 free season passes for the feed. The giveaway will begin at 7pm on Tuesday 8th June, the day before the show launches live on Channel 4. Fans will need to register on the official Big Brother website (channel4.com./bigbrother) at this time and if they are one of the first 1000 registrations received they will be given a free pass.

Channel 4 Commissioning Editor, David Williams said
"Years ago streaming on line was less popular due to the limitations of technology, however now we know that the vast majority of fans will have access to broadband and are very active online. This is a great way of Channel 4 giving the fans the all-access action that they want, and thanking them for following the show for the past eleven years. "

The live feed will start from the very first night (exact time TBC), once the new housemates are all in the house.

In addition to the online streaming there will be live streaming on television in the afternoons on E4 and overnight on E4 and Channel 4, as occurred for Celebrity Big Brother 7 in January. Other TV programming includes E4's ultimate fanzine show Big Brother's Little Brother and the late-night Big Brother's Big Mouth hosted by Davina following each live eviction.

This is the first chance I have got to have a look at the live feed - and I tune in to hear Rachael and Govan having a chat.
Rachael is annoyingly being bitchy - when will women ever learn to keep that bitch mouth of theirs SHUT.

Caiomhe and chatting about the voting in the Eurovision Song Contest,
Caiomhe thinks it's terrible the way the UK always vote for Ireland but Ireland doesn't return the vote to the UK.

I don't know if I heard right earlier, Sunshine was talking about food and wanted lots of rice and pasta ordered in the shopping list so everyone would have something to eat, she is vegan and said all she eats is bread and chrisps. :-?

Rachael & Govan Talk First Impressions
ImageRachael and Govan got nasty the Nest, listing off the housemates who they already don’t think are their cup of tea.

Govan started the scandal, saying ‘Dave and Sunshine’ are the two he can’t see himself liking. Rachael continues, telling Govan how it was suggested she share a bed with ‘the posh one’ and how she thought Ben ‘was gay’. Govan insists that Ben is just eccentric.

The pair moves on, this time discussing Shabby and how they were surprised that they liked her from first impressions. Rachael adds ‘I like her. I don’t like to judge people on first impressions… but obviously you do!”.

Govan then tells the Beyonce look-a-like that he thinks girls in the House will be threatened by her and admits that this is because she ‘has a sexy vibe’. Rachael adds to this, ‘I’m intimidating because I’m tall and big, but I’m proud of it”.

However, Rachael confides ‘People think I’m full of myself, but I have insecurities too’.

Indeed, we should invade the south, and make it part of the Her Majesties glorious realm

Calrissian: Troi Points...watching the feed

Can't say I'm impressed with the 'live feed'. It keeps stopping, or breaking up.

I've a 9.2mbps downlink on Cable (checked, yes, that's the speed I have) so it shouldn't be stopping like this - annoying!

So I got a free pass, does that mean I get the naff connection?

9.2k ?

Err, surely you mean 9.2 mb, or are you living on the moon?

Calrissian: awaiting the highlights show.

the shopping has arrived and some of the housemates are amazed to see so many tins of beans, sugar and toilet paper - diva Rachael saying they can make millions of cakes with all the sugar. Mario, Ben and Josie are in bed together behaving like they have been having a fine old time on the cooking Sherry.

But no booze...?

So, Shabby reckons they should use the sh*t loads of patoatoes and add sugar to make Vodka... ()^ {@}

A slight shortage of toilet rolls, they thought they had ordered 40 but only got about 8, yet they've loads of tins of beans

Humanity...never a species to 'prepare'.

Well, its 11.13pm I've got the live feed running, and I'm struggling to name whom Shabby reminds me of.

Calrissian: ice-cream on standby.
