First Shopping List Arrives


At 17:14 today Govan emerged from the Diary Room with the housemate’s first Shopping List. Now, as we all know, the Shopping List can be accountable for some of the biggest rows Big Brother has ever seen.

Knowing that this is their first list and only their second day locked away, will this year’s lot play nice or will hell break loose over the baked beans?
Which housemate’s will stand up in what they believe in – or more importantly, what they want, and which housemate will prove to be shopping shy?

Housemates have learnt that they have £200 for the shopping, accounting for just £20 a head. Big Brother has told housemates that they can keep the food that they already possess.
The housemates only have one hour to decide how to feed 14 heads. Considering they are already bickering, they better get their act together!

Hung, Drawn & Quoted

To celebrate the Housemates' first day in the Big Brother House, Big Brother treated Housemates to a very special three course lunch.

In the Garden was a dinner table attached to a crane. Housemates were asked to choose which one of them would not go up for lunch in the sky. Sunshine offered to keep her feet on the ground. All other Housemates were lifted and suspended 40 metres in the air above the House. After lunch they played a traditional after dinner picture-based guessing game, which would affect their shopping budget.

Sunshine was challenged had to paint five pictures on a giant pad in the Garden from numbered clues in a chocolate box. Each clue contains a phrase used to describe the Housemates, quoted from today's papers. Sunshine had to draw a picture that best depicts this word or phrase.

The five clues were:

1) Big Boobed Babe
2) Squatter
3) Boring Old One
4) Hunky Trio
5) Wannabes

Housemates on the suspended table attempted to guess what is being drawn below. They had two minutes in which to guess each clue. For each clue they guessed correctly, they won £100 toward their shopping.

If they failed to guess any clues correctly, Housemates will receive an economy shopping delivery, consisting of basic rations.



Results as follows:

1. Big Boobed Babe - which they failed to identify.
2. Squatter - which they identified correctly
3. Boring Old One - they correctly identified, but Sunshine gestured to the Housemates which was against the rules
4. Hunky Trio - which they failed to identify
5. Wannabes - which they identified correctly

Although Housemates correctly guessed the phrase "Boring Old One", Sunshine broke the rules by giving gestured clues. Therefore the Housemates' answer was disallowed.

Therefore, Housemates guessed two phrases correctly and have won £200 towards this week's premium shopping budget.
