It is funny putting names to faces, I never really know how to picture people

It is funny how people drift. I wonder if forums full stop have become less popular, I'm not too sure. I haven't gone on any at all since I stopped coming on here regularly, maybe facebook and all that are taking the place.

I think FB has made a big difference but surely forums should still have their place? I genuinely used to love coming here to catch up with everyone and have a laugh!

Me too but it all trailed off as people got different jobs or didn't have as much free time, plus bb went rubbish ... On the plus side I've been made redundant so I can be here 24/7 (gotta laugh or I'll cry)

Yeah I think that contributed to me not being around so much, I went from a job where I did very little to one where I actually have to work. Been there five years now and have a clue what I'm doing so can take a wee bit time out.... although I'm signed off this week cos I had (minor)surgery last week When I go back next week it'll be dead busy cos it's coming in to the really busy time of the year in the industry. Plus I've just finished one OU course and now starting another, love that tho

Oh no Jo!!!!! I thought you were self employed... why did I think that?

I was self employed had a computer shop for years but the area got really dodgy, had a few unsavoury customers topped with the newsagent round the corner being targeted by druggies with knives plus I ended up mostly box shifting but couldn't compete with pc world and online stuff so decided to close up......

The company I was working for the last few years has just had to close due to the main contract being moved up north last year

I don't have a clue what to do about claiming job seekers or anything

Hope you're ok after your surgery, I considered doing some knd of course just to keep myself busy (been looking for jobs for a year now while still in employment) but it's too damn expensive, dunno if I can do anything for free now I'm unemployed though?

You will for sure be able to do stuff for free is you're unemployed! Hopefully you won't be for long tho *fingers crossed*
