MARIO THE MOLE

Earlier this evening 13 new housemates entered the Big Brother house to begin a summer in front of the cameras. Shortly after Big Brother made his choices and ushered the chosen ones into the house Lady Luck had her say. The names of the remaining 68 housemates were put into a tombola for a random draw under the auspices of an independent adjudicator. Davina reached in and picked out one name. Mario.

Mario is to become the 14th housemate but he has been set a very special task - the impossible task. Big Brother told him that "with great randomness comes great responsibility…."

Mario must enter the Big Brother house wearing a mole costume. He must sleep in the mole hole and will be asked to perform a series of dastardly deeds against his fellow housemates that he must complete without them realising he is the BB mole. If he succeeds then he can stay. If he fails then he will be asked to leave the Big Brother house.

Born near Venice in Italy Mario is half British and half Italian. He lives in Essex and although now unemployed recently worked in McDonalds.

Mario is fascinated by the paranormal and the potential powers of the mind believing "we are all connected by a cosmic force but organized religion isn't relevant or needed".

He doesn't believe that love truly exists rather it is 'an enforced emotion of jealously and fear'. He says he has learnt to not wear heart on his sleeve and to trust no-one, he is often the dumper because he likes feeling like a big man.

Mario has a phobia of death and aging which means he constantly wears moisturiser and sunblock and always exercises 'to be young and beautiful'. He hates to see animals mistreated but he eats meat.

Mario is a massive Big Brother fan and he owns the diary room chair from BB7. His friends say he is a shallow narcissist but he is bored by Paris Hilton/Jordan wannabes. He admits to being vain, saying when he goes to a club even if he doesn't want to pull girls, he still wants to look attractive to them. However, never in Primark - "vampire and destroyer of fashion"

Day 2 - Mole is told to dump all the vegetables AND bread into the pool, out of the packets, and pin it on someone else...

Mario's Tree Of Tempation Task

At 22:25 Mario was happily brushing his teeth when he heard the call of the Tree of Temptation, now in the form of a brushed pine set of chest-of-drawers.

Just minutes earlier housemates recieved all of their weekly shopping, and poor Mario has ben ordered by the Tree to throw all of the housemate's vegetables into the pool. A helpless Mario replied "That's not fair. They'll know it's me". But this Tree wasn't fooled and told Mario he would have to pass the sabbotage off as though it was somebody else.

Mario protests to the challenge and the Tree is quick to add that Mario 'has no friends', to which Mario replies,'well, you're not being a nice one!'. And because of Mario's cheekiness, the Tree demands he throw in all the bread as well.

He does seem nice enough Obo - I think he wants to find love in the house to get back at the guy that rejected him last Sunday.

Mario Fails First Attempt


At 2:53 this morning, after waiting anxiously in his Mole Hole, Mario spoke to Big Brother outlining his plans for a first attempt at what he called ‘Operation Supersoak Vegetables’.
Mario told Big Brother that he was going to strip down to his underwear and walk to the Kitchen. If he saw someone, he would pretend he needed a glass of water but if the coast was clear, he would strike.
The Mole quickly got down to his bare essentials then sneaked across the Garden and into the Kitchen where he unfortunately stumbled upon Caiomhe and Ife. The girls invited Mario to join them for a late night chat but the sleepy Mole quickly made his excuses and retreated to the Mole Hole, with his tail between his legs.
On Mario’s return to bed at 2:59am, he told Big Brother that ‘this task is more difficult than first seemed’ and asked ‘what are they still doing up? Can’t I go to bed?’
We wait for Mario to make his second front but will he be successful?

After a failed attempt earlier in the night, Mario managed to complete his task. He also framed a fellow housemate for his dastardly deed! Check out the veggie carnage here! (Apologies for slightly low sound levels)

TREE OF TEMPATATION: FAGOTAGE



This afternoon, the Tree of Temptation ordered Mario to sabotage another housemate's cigarettes, but to point the finger of blame on someone else. The Tree provided Mario with a small pair of child's scissors with which to ruin the fags.

Earlier this morning the Tree of Temptation had an early morning update with Mario regarding his progress with the cigerette sabotage task from last night. Always keen to stir up some mischief the tree then provided Mario with an earpiece to enable him to cheat during a quiz scheduled for later this morning. Mario was also rather cryptically told that 'tonight's the night' and that he should carry a screwdriver on him at all times.As always, keep checking the website throughout the day to see how events unfold!

Miserable Mole!


Mario was a bit down in the dumps this morning after yet another night alone in his mole hole. He told the housemates that 'being bitten by ants all night was a personal highlight for him!'

Looking a bit sad Mario then started singing 'It's not easy being mole' to the tune of 'It's not easy being green'.

Not one to let his mate be upset alone, Dave sat down next to Mario and gave him a big old hug. "Everything's gonna be alright mole" he said comfortingly to him.

Would Dave be so nice to our resident mole if he knew that he was responsible for all the chaos in the House over the last few days though?

TREE OF TEMPTATION: END DE MOLE


This is it. The Mole's big day is finally here.

At 8.15am this morning the mole kept his appointement with the Tree of Temptation and they had another chat. The tree told him that later today there will be a quiz and that the Tree is going to help him win it.

The Tree provided Mario with an ear piece that he must put in at some point before the quiz so the Tree can feed him the answers during the quiz.

The Tree also provided a screw driver which Mario will need for another part of the task later in the day…
