It's just a massive iPod touch, got the 32gb wifi version, also got a mifi portable router for 30 quid so I can use it away from home, £15 a month for 15gb allowance only drawback is it's on 3, ive not used used it yet but the other half has taken it to work every day with his iPod and hasnt had a problem with signal ... That's definitely the cheaper way to go it's only a monthly contract too and has a better allowance than any of the other iPad offers.

I got it the day after launch and it's not been out of my hands yet, I absolutely love it.... Even my mum wants one now! As a pc engineer I was taught to hate all things apple but this is the most beautiful bit of kit I've ever had, using it now and turned on it's side it's like using a proper keyboard, only problems is that you can't print direct yet and the lack of flash is a problem on some sites. The apps are quite expensive too but I would recommend it to anyone :D

Dawn has just reminded me that she wants an ipod touch but we may come to verbal blows over the subject.

Ellie (aged 8) has an iphone, her and Stanley (Aged 4) use it to play games, Mummy is allowed to borrow it during school hours. I blame the parents :lecturer:

My feet are resting on a HP Mini, in its box, Dawn hates the Windows 7 workings as the bl**dy system keeps trying to take over the world. She got it for xmas because it has a 'Pretty Pink' case.

that my dear Jezi is what's wrong with modern society, geez I'm only 34 and sound like a right-wing old fogey :-( ::lol::

seriously what parent allows a five year, heck any child under the age 15, have a mobile phone. When I left school in 92, mobiles were too expensive for the ordinary school kid, so parents had to rely on old fashion things like setting a curfew (or not allowing their kids to wander around shopping centres aimlessly)

Sadly my generation, who are now becoming parents, have caved into the me generation mantra of "I want it, so I'll have it now". Some things are seen as a right, rather than a privilege, which is sad

...... and rant over :flowerpower:

My main issue with windows 7 is that loads of my old kit like usb TV card. web cam etc are not compatable with windows 7 and no drivers will be writen for them so I have to junk them and get new ones ... thats rediculous. Plus every time I release the mouse to type the pointer drops to show dest top button and suddenly Im typing on my wall paper.. most annoy and i cant find how to remove it and dont get me started on the lack of enail support. Ive got several accounts Ive long since forgotten the passwords to and used to just import them .. now I cant under windows 7 and am having to use Outlook from 2001 to do it but it only receives and wont send .. grrrrrrr

anywho Im looking for a MAC next.
