TASK: YOU VS THE HOUSEMATES -
CANDLE IN THE WIND



For today's task; 'You vs. The Housemates', one housemate will go head to head against a member of the public.

The challenge is to blow out a birthday cake candle from as far away as possible.

If the housemate beats the member of the public at the challenge they will win a very special prize.

Shortly, housemates will have two minutes to choose one housemate to take on the member of the public. This housemate will then be shown a VT, recorded earlier in the week, of part of their opponent's candle blowing attempt.

The rules state that the housemate must only use their breath to blow out the candle and the candle must be at mouth height.

After a one hour practice session the housemate will place the candle as far away from them as they think they can achieve before attempting to blow it out. They must remain in this position without creeping forward.

For their attempt at beating the viewer the housemate will be given three attempts at blowing out the candle. One blow can be as long as the housemate can continuously blow before refilling their lungs with air.

If the housemate manages to beat the viewer they will receive a special reward. However if the housemate does not beat the viewer the viewer will receive a special reward.

You Vs The Housemates: The Task Begins
It's the moment we've all been waiting for - the You Vs The Housemates task has begun!

After gathering all housemates on the sofa, Big Brother asked for one housemate to come to the Diary Room. Shabby immediately volunteered, hoping that a new (preferably female) housemate would be introduced. Instead, she was given a laminate, setting up the Candle In The Wind task and asking for a housemate "full of hot air" to take part. The housemates unanimously chose Corin.

After watching viewer Andy's attempt (as seen on BBLB on Thursday), Corin now has an hour to practice her blowing skills, before registering her score later this afternoon. If she wins, she'll win a special reward. If she loses, the prize will be going to Andy.

Corin is Ready to Take You On
Corin is now ready for her task. She has been practising for the last hour and has been given an outfit to wear. She is now all equipped in her 70’s athletic attire and ready to let rip. Let’s just hope she’s got the wind to deliver a winning blow.

TASK: YOU VS THE HOUSEMATES -
CANDLE IN THE WIND: UPDATE



For today's task; 'You vs. The Housemates', one housemate went head to head against a member of the public.

The challenge was to blow out a birthday cake candle from as far away as possible.

If the housemate beat the member of the public at the challenge they win a very special prize.

Housemates chose Corin to take on the viewer.

Corin had three attempts to blow out the candle.

The results were:

Attempt one - 1.20meters = FAILED
Attempt two - 1.20meters = FAILED
Attempt three - 1.15meters = PASSED

As Andy the viewer only managed one meter it means Corin beat the viewer and will be rewarded with luxury cup cakes later today.

Cupcakes on the House!
Earlier today, Corin took part in our 'You Versus The Housemates' task where she had to blow out a candle standing as far away from it as possible.

Our viewer called Andy, sent in a video entry where he blew out the candle from one meter away. However, the tanned Jordan look-a-like was more than ready to take on Andy and managed to turn the flame to smoke from a whopping 1.15 meters away!

Corin had helped to lift the spirits of the group, who were still struggling to cope with having to say goodbye to gorgeous Rachael last night.

Now as an extra bonus, the housemates have been given an array of delicious cupcakes to get stuck into, with some alcohol to wash it down.

TASK: YOU VS THE HOUSEMATES - Spinning Around


For this weeks You vs. A Housemate challenge, housemates must attempt to spin around on the spot as many times as possible in 30 seconds, whilst keeping their feet within a 1m radius.
Ife was chosen to take part in this challenge; she managed to spin around 30 times in 30 seconds, beating the viewer's score of 25 spins.
As a reward for winning the challenge Big Brother will be spinning some tunes for the group, and will also provide a spin the bottle game and drinks.
