Ugh, I hate the age argument used by younger HMs. 'You're xx years old!' Usually used by some imbecile to try and avoid any comeback in regard to their own behaviour.

Shabby would be asked to leave my local pub if she used those base words she has done tonight. Its unpleasant language pure and simple.

Shabby nailed Ben in that argument, and she nailed him again at the end of the show. {@} ::lol:: ::lol:: ::lol::

She would not only refuse to leave the said establishment...

She'd call up her communists friends and move in!

::lol:: Ben caught out shit-stirring! It was only a matter of time he's been at it that much! Shabby came out the better in that argument with Ben.IMO I've noticed Ben is constantly looking for reassurance from his friends - like he's not happy unless someone is telling him how right and wonderful he is. I think it's all an act AND I wonder how long (if ever) it'll take before Mario gets tired of boosting Ben's ego and being Ben's P.R man for so little in return.

At least Caoimhe gets undivided attention from Shabby and a few laughs for being her sidekick.

I hope Josie has learned that a man like JJ who has a short fuse is not someone to make jokes at.

I'd rather Dave go this week than any of the other 3.

Its a local pub ... we play darts. pool . dominoes. etc .. and maybe sip a half a shandy ... its where communities used to meet, nowadays thanks to labour killing off locals we meet in the supermarket and swear at each other while carrying our diamond whites and naff DVDs how where we sit alone waiting for the time we need to sleep then get up and go to a job where we have to cyber chat as actual talking to another physical human is frowned on.

Its weird, three of our main soaps are based on interaction in local pubs ... yet the goverment of the last 13 years did everything in its power to kill the local pub off and empower the supermarkets and binge drinking town centre pubs and yet suddenly act all surprised about the increase in violence and increase in home drinking.

I may be ranting ::lol::

Josie - played it wrong. Pushed it too far and then was insufficiently apologetic when she saw what the consequences of her actions had been. Yes, JJ was mean to Rachael, but she was left in no doubt that he didn't like her; JJ thought Josie was a mate - it always hurts worse when mates f*ck you off like that.

John James - don't leave or there'll be no-one to look at and perv over!!!

Shabby - telling it like it is. She's growing on me. We saw the sh*t-stirring side to Ben that - in all fairness - Mads has been pointing out to me for a couple of days. My apologies to Madeline for being snarky over this. Shabby hit the nail on the head with Ben and with Mario, but what she hasn't yet seen is the lurking presence of Dave in all this friction.

Govan - coming out of the closet is a painful, difficult, horrendous process. If that's what's going on here (and I suspect it is) then I feel so so sorry for the lad. To have that happen on national TV is a hard row to hoe. It IS especially hard for young black men to come out, so I'm sending him all my good thoughts. Interesting how he chose Corin to speak to - it's who I would have gone for too, as she seems the most human and most likely to be sympathetic.

Corin - she just keeps on getting better and better! I want her to come talk to me and give me a hug!

Josie also thought JJ was a mate and was in on the banter, he was till he took offence and did his usual turn on a penny switch.
Josie was very hurt at JJ's verbal assault and I thought it very big of her when she went to comfort him. His tears were nothing to do with what had happenend, they were tears of frustration and anger because he didn't get his own way., imo.

Shabby nailed Ben's arse to the wall, she now needs to listen to Govan about Dave's duplicity then we can see her sort him out as well.
Mario is a creep, imo. he will need a sheild to cover his face when he comes out because he will have taken the bunny-boiler tag away from Michelle and Craig.

Poor Govan, he was genuinely upset and it was painful to watch him try and say what he really wanted to say, Corin once again has shown how nice she is. She listens and gives sound advice.

Govan is not the snitch he is being made out to be - he gossips and warns of dangers to his friends, which I might add are correct- unlike paranoid Ben's. If Govan's way of dealing with what he sees makes him a snitch then the others, Ben, Dave, Steve, Mario and JJ need the same title.

Corin - she just keeps on getting better and better! I want her to come talk to me and give me a hug!

Everyone needs a Corin in their life Bunny, until we find one we all just have to stay positive and get on with it.
