England Beat Germany! 
Finally, an English penalty shoot-out victory over the Germans! In an epic encounter, the English Big Brother housemates emerged as 2-1 victors over their German counterparts, after an astonishing 17 penalties a piece!
It was a nervy affair with both sides failing to find the net from their first two penalties but Dave calmly stroked home the third into the bottom right hand corner to pile the pressure on the opposition.
However, German efficiency prevailed and they clinically slotted home the equaliser from the very next attempt.
Both teams struggled to maintain composure after these strikes, missing their next 14 penalties each, and it seemed as if nobody would be able to end the deadlock, despite coming close on numerous occasions.
Thankfully for the housemates, and our own shredded nerves, Ife finally tucked away the winning penalty to spark raucous celebrations which will surely carry on late into the night.
They will be rewarded with the chance to watch the real England vs Germany World Cup encounter tomorrow afternoon. Come on England! Good luck to the boys in South Africa tomorrow.
