For all his dyed blonde hair, the cut off jeans and the hoodie, JJ is still an insecure shallow boy. And he is doing what all his fellow insecure male comrades do, he is beating down the only female that keeps giving a another chance to redeem himself, but never does.
Of course he is trying to hold on to Josie, she is doing what all the women like her do, she is making him acceptable to his fellow housemates and to the viewers who would otherwise think he is the punk he is, only for her friendship. He is clinging to her like the Koala Bear clings to the Eucalyptus Tree to feed.
I pity the female that ends up in a relationship with him, she will cry many a salt tear.

If you honestly think JJ is capable of "beating down" Josie, you have a very low opinion of her. She is beating him down more like.

He needs Josie to humanise him, he knew he had gone to far that is why he did his DR act, works every time with women who know no better.

It is absolutely clear in this situation who has the real power and it isn't JJ, it's Josie. Who was crying in the diary room? Who was so affected by the argument that they thought of leaving because they couldn't stand being in the house and not being the other person's friend? It wasn't Josie, now was it?

JJ ran to the DR because he knew he had gone too far with Josie, again.
There is no way on gods earth that I could justify his behaviour, a flaw I am glad to have, unlike you who refuses to see the real JJ - why is that?

Re JJ thou the toddler as Jossie now calls him has tried to break down Jossie even employing BB itself to force her to come to the DR to face him just like a mother might do if little Johny was complaining Jossie wont play with him.

I'm afraid I see it as 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. The only thing that I think is wrong with JJ is that he's a spoilt Mummy's boy, and Josie seems to be a very jealous person. I think she was jealous of the newbies. Like she said when the new ones came in 'I may as well go home now, because I can't win now.' She obviously thought she could before! I also think the reason she wanted to keep her distance from JJ is because he made her angry and she was worried she would lose it with him and that would spoil her chances.

I don't think she's all she's cracked up to be. Remember her very false entrance on the first day and all her false laughter in the Diary Room.

JJ apologised to Josie because she beat him down. I'll say it again - who was upset and who was laughing it up? Anyone with a brain who doesn't instinctively hate men could see Josie was the one with all the power. Oh and let's not forget her entire defence was based on a LIE!!!

I also don't think that Josie particularly likes JJ. Well she likes him, but not as much as he likes her. She is just flattered by the attention he is giving her, but if he gets in the way of her game plan, then she doesn't want to know.

I actually think JJ and Josie really do like each other they're just both used to the other party making the first move and clearly have little experience with the opposite sex....
It's like a playground mentality for both of them, denying they fancy each other cos they're scared to get their fingers burnt in case the other doesn't feel the same! Josie can't believe a bloke as good looking as him would look twice at her, this is either a clever sympathy vote plan or she genuinely has self esteem issues!

I do think that Josie fancies John she just doesn't like his personality sometimes, the row on Mondays HL show was absolutely fuelled by her jealousy of the new girls, and she then tried to wind John up by insisting how much she likes Andrew which was cruel cos the poor lad now thinks she's interested in him! I've deleted it off the sky+ without thinking but will check on the 4OD I'm absolutely positive Josie referred to him as "crab eyes" they were sitting in the bed together talking to the newbies. Basically they need their heads banging togther or just keep away from each other
