Celebrity Come Dine with Me
Cha4, Thursday 15 July 8:00pm - 9:00pm Note to self: never, ever sit round a dinner table with self-proclaimed original supermodel Janice Dickinson. Her table manners are revolting (at one point she eats her dessert straight from the bowl as if it were a trough), she dominates the conversation, making increasingly rude remarks about her fellow guests, and she even flashes her underwear in front of the freezer in order to cool herself down during a menopausal hot flush. "I haven't had so much fun since my ex-mother-in-law fell in a well," she screeches. That's good, Janice, because the other diners - Sam Fox, Jeff Brazier and Calum Best - don't look as if they're enjoying themselves at all. By the second night of the hospitalities, they all appear to have more than had their fill. At least Janice's big-mouth antics give narrator Dave Lamb plenty of ammunition for his trademark bons mots, while the quartet's peculiar scoring is as surprising as Calum Best's determination to present himself as a refined gentleman rather than the lothario we all thought he was.
