I think long drops are just, big holes in the ground toilets, can't say I've ever used one, Festivals being my idea of hell, along with bungee jumping as well.

New features are bedding in really, takes time.

Enjoyed the Gervais interview, think they ended it on a bum note though.

Not many DJ gigs confirmed in the next few months - Brighton next week - but sure Kate's thought it all out properly alongside her Kerrang! committments. Be great if Ibiza was on the itinerary at some point, but a few gigs abroad seem to be on the agenda later - one at a festival in Mexico City!

Thought the Ricky Gervais interview was funny and well done for producer Neil for getting that. Kate said she was going to his gig in Brum in August but probably did make a slight mistake in suggesting Ricky present the Drivetime show with her on that day! Just a joke. ::lol::
Sought of thing Tim Shaw would say and wouldn't care about.
Ricky is massive now, always has massive projects on the go and mixes with the A-list, but was on good form and is always a very good interviewee.

Kate said she's off today, Danielle Perry sitting in, Kate back monday.

Hmm, all a bit quiet in here.

Anyway, Kate has finally said she won't be doing that ghastly all-stars thingamyjig, which is great IMHO. It means I won't have to watch {@}

Hopefully Brian D will win. :D

I think the radio show is sounding good ATM, Kate seems very relaxed and her relationship with Fearny is good. I had reservations about all the Facebook interacty stuff, but I think it's worked really well, connecting with the audience well. So another reason to be glad that she won't be doing BB.

Mind you, Rajars announced tomorrow, which is always big for radio stations, so all can change...

Rajars are rajars, something The Guardian and middle-class media types think about. The tabloids get obsessed about moronic, boring, unintellegent cretins like Chris Evans and Chris Moyles, who jump on any bandwagon for their radio shows.
Chris Evans and Moyles didn't know anything about football till the media mentioned it. True.

BB2's Brian Dowling would win any most popular Big Brother housemate in any 'champion of champions' contest.

Kate's best off where she is as the top peep. She's doing a great job as a Kerrang!Radio presenter. You can't get much credibility than that.

Your right on the football thing with both Evans And Moyles, I was listening to Radio 1 all the way through their conversions to footie whatever that is.

Yet they clearly connect to their respective audiences and Moyles has been complimentary about Kates radio performances.

Anyway the Rajars all seem a bit meh for Kerrang. Yet they've stayed about the same through a year that they've halved their employees. So I hope it's all going well {@}

Yeah, I think most people will know the former housemates likely to appear.

Brian Belo, Nikki Grahame, and others with no career that doesn't involve Big Brother will obviously appear.
Kate's kept her distance, relatively, and is better off without it.

Mind you, the most successful BB broadcaster, Alison Hammond, is on BBLB tonight!

Alison Hammond was brilliant last night on BBLB. You could tell that a BB cynic like George Lamb, who always dismisses the usual post-BB nonsense of selling stories to the z-list celebrity magazines, tabloids, going straight to the lads' mags',etc., respected her, because Alison is the most successful post-BB Housemate regarding a true career in broadcasting. Brian Dowelling and Craig Phillips have been very successful, also, though get the feeling that Endemol are desperate for Craig to appear. It was reported that Brian wouldn't.

Kate has made a few comments on twitter that she wouldn't, and why would she need to?

I'm not sure its worth the effort on facebook-it seems a lot of work reading all the comments and just to keep 50 people amused when the listeners number in the hundreds of thousands.Still I guess Kate has always had emails to look at on all her radio shows since Capital. :D
Henri leaving sadly-he will be missed-good banter when they overlap. :-(

Bit more then 50 people Vilt, :wave: more like 50,000. Been a surprising success really according to this. I think it helps for a rapport especially when Fearny isn't around.

Henri leaving? really, oh that's a shame :-(

Didn't know Henry was leaving. :-?
Kate called him her little brother the other night.
Henry just seems like the nicest guy - made a career in radio - but never sounded arrogant.

Henry's last of the old Breakfast crew and by the sound of it always a good friend to Kate. Hope he's on the up and up and has got a good job.

Producer Neil was back last night on Kate's show after some kind of wrestling thingy in Los Angeles. Kate and Neil seem to get on very well; Kate has spoken highly of him at times.
Very good show last night from the bits I heard with Kate in good form, especially asking Neil about his trip to LA.

Henri's last night tonight :-(

Interview with Kate in the Grimsby Telegraph

Either it's a typo or Kate doesn't know how long she's been at Kerrang, she started in 2007 {@}

Who knows?, but it's hard to believe that Big Brother started 11 years ago and Kate won the third one.

Funny watching the housemates who turned up for Ulitimate Big Brother(or who were asked and agreed rather than declined), but 3 housemates from BB3, ie Kate, Alison and Adele Roberts have weekly jobs in the media.

Special mention for Brian Dowling who must have been under immense pressure to appear for 'Ultimate Big Brother's' credibility. Brian's been brilliant thus far.

Does anyone else find it odd Kate refers to Danielle Perry, just as her flatmate, rather then, well Danielle Perry, a fellow presenter. Just me probably.

A nice video up on the site of Kate offering around her substandard Brownies.

She seems to be having a bit of a 'mare this week, after a heavy weekend. As you get older you find that heavy nights can have a more lasting affect, particularly as Kate isn't exactly up to a fighting weight, at the moment.

I'm really glad she isn't doing UBB, I said this at the start, but I would of quite liked to see her, I suppose. Yet the show has turned viciously from fun to trauma. I tried watching it for old times sake but the stitch up on Nadia, just to pander to Richard Desmond (because they're hoping he buys BB for Channel5) so he can sell more magazines featuring tiresome nonentities, was unedifying. Davina really is horrible nowadays.

I'm also fairly depressed at how little people have changed from their first stints, BB seems to stunt personal growth rather then encourage it, IMHO. Which is why the ones that have grown out of it, and haven't wished to participate are the real winners here.

George Lamb & Emma Griffiths always seem to put a question mark next to comments about BB11 being the 'last' series?, and The Daily Star's Richard Desmond takeover of Channel 5 does indicate that he wants to bring it back.
Gary Bushell indicated it in his Daily Star Sunday TV column last week. He was strangely on message praising the show. Hmm....
Channel 5 will always have problems with ratings, though, making it difficult to promote it in their newspapers & magazines. Hope they give it a year's rest if there is to be a revamp & return.

It seems that The Daily Star group are obsessed with promoting Chantelle and Preston rekindling their relationship in 'Ultimate' Big Brother for selling to the media - because that's what the public are demanding?? ${

Kate said her appearance on Total Wipeout will be next week, saturday, September 18, BBC1 - said it was a good laugh.
