Yeah, Kate did really well to get to the final, but the obstacle course wasn't to her liking!
Hoped Kate was going to beat Jeff Brazier in the final, at least, because his entire career is based on once knowing Jade Goody. Still, Kate and Iwan helped him to get on that stage they had to run on to from the swinging planks. I'm being technical!

Thought Kate was by far the most charasmatic peep on the show.
Kate doesn't really need all this z-list promotion if Radio and Club Career is going well - see Chantelle since 'Ultimate' Big Brother - but the only 'reality' tv show Kate should ever consider is Strictly Come Dancing.

Agree about the whole 'BB Winner' thing being naff, but everybody has a reference point, and despite Kate's successful efforts as a Radio & Club DJ, she has to put up with that.

All-in-all a decent outing on the gogglebox, wouldn't of done her any harm. She apparently was physically sick at one point, just after the bit that she wasn't looking too happy. So, indeed Christine, she showed some guts (literally).

Anyway, Kate confirmed in the new October schedules at Kerrang, same time. Danielle is getting her own show. Clearly they're trying to make it a less "blokey" station in their quest for a different demographic.

The problem with the kerrang wall on facebook is just a small number of people can make a big noise.Some "dude"yesterday complaining pedantically about the bloody playlist and blaming Kate for it!.One day they'll grow up and be embarassed but til then Kate has to be polite to the "dude"

Yeah, the Kerrang page is ruined by four or five whingers, really don't know why they don't just ban them, I use the block facility a lot Apart from those idiots, it is quite a good way for Kate and others to interact with their audience.

Anyway, it seems Kate and Danielle are going to be doing some DJing gigs in London for Kerrang. An interesting development, dunno whether they'll get paid extra, or if it's all part of their new contracts. Anyway, I think it'll be good for Kate to use more diverse playlists, and obviously she can meet up with friends and family, diffuse the homesickness.

Blimey, Breakfast show presenter, Simon James, contributed to Kate's 'recent and decent' music track last week for the first time. I've heard him make rather glib comments about Kate and he obviously doesn't like her. He's quite clever at comedy from time to time but rips of Chris Morris which is a complete crime.
Simon James protests too much about Kate - mentions Kate quite a lot - especially to Producer Neil.
Listened to the Breakfast show last week and he referred to Kate as 'Lawler'. Always disrespectful to refer to a woman by her surname - never heard Kate refer to Simon James as 'james'.

It looks like Kate is starting her fourth year at Kerrang!. Hope so; she puts so much energy and enthusiam into her show. She probably won't be recognised by the Sonys because of Big Brother, but she's pretty good. Her banter with Alex Baker is hilarious.

Kate confirmed her Kerrang! Radio gig in London this weekend with Danielle Perry. Don't know how that affects Kate's Dance Career, but pretty good that Kate and Danielle Perry are promoting Kerrang! Radio in London.

Don't know why Kerrang! Radio or their owner's, Bauer, don't just stick their hands in their pockets and pay for a blummin great poster in Oxford Street, London, saying , 'LISTEN TO KERRANG! RADIO ON DAB'

Yesh, the Kerrang gigs look like they're going to be monthly, one in Ireland lined up too.

I dunno that it'll affect her other DJing much, never a bad thing to diversify and learn to to a different style, as I said before. Should be fun for her and Danielle, and good promo for their respective shows.

It's her third anniversary today, and I do think the show is at it's best, her rapport with Fearny has probably become her best "showbiz" partnership really.
