I never watch the X Factor so I'm only getting to know Stacey Solomon now - and I really like her.
She is so charming and self deprecating, my kind of person.

Konnie Huq spoils Jedward jungle surprise?

The Extra Factor host Konnie Huq may have accidentally ruined an ITV 'I'm A Celebrity' surprise after alluding to Jedward being 'in the jungle.'

During a chat with X Factor contestant Aiden Grimshaw about his hair, Huq added that a quiff measuring contest with Jedward would only be possible 'if they weren't in the jungle of course'.

Stacey competed against Aggro Santos in Who Wants To Eat A WIlly On Air and won after swallowing a kangaroo's ***** quicker than him, despite describing it as the "ugliest willy" she'd ever seen.
Speaking of which, Lembit Opik beat former Playmate Kayla Collins as they had to rummage inside boxes full of rats, snakes and insects to find stars, while Lembit was wishing he was having a feel inside Kayla's box etc, etc.

The girls beat the boys and were treated to dinner at their hotel (but had to wait for two hours while Gillian re-chewed every morsel a hundred times before swallowing) while the boys were sent straight to camp where they attempted to light a fire for twenty minutes before realising Shaun Ryder was smoking a cigarette and had a lighter.

Is she a celebrity? Critics attack Stacey Solomon

The inclusion of Stacey Solomon, the former X-Factor contestant, in this year's series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here has been heralded by some as a new low in the history of British reality TV.

For although the level of fame required for entry to the jungle has never been high, most of the contestants can at least claim to have been in the public eye for some time. And while the likes of Britt Ekland and Nigel Havers are no longer A-listers, they can at least hope that a stint in the jungle will reinvigorate, rather than begin, their careers.

But in Solomon, a single mother from Dagenham, the producers have chosen a woman who's only previous brush with celebrity came as a contestant in last year's X-Factor, in which she finished third behind Olly Murs and the eventual winner Joe Mcelderry.

Since appearing on the talent show, Solomon appears to have done very little, although she is said to be studying theatre arts and is raising her son Zach.
