Over the weekend I discovered I could access the Greek Big Brother channel on satellite. Sadly it's no longer accessible.

ImageImageImage

Seems a mixture of themes. The Japanese cartoon wallpaper in some parts ,city scapes in others. Plus there were lots of finger print posters about the place. They also have a large swimming pool.

Didn't really get a chance to watch much as I was doing other things.

They don't broadcast through the night ,restarting at 7am. Don't know what time they go off air.

The wallpaper looks as though it has got French writing on it. Also is that exercise equipment I can see?

Yes it is their execise gear.
The EPG was Greek.

I'm still checking to see if it comes back as I have access to other Greek channels in the package. But the Cyprus channels currently aren't available so maybe when they reappear so will BB.

The Alpha TV in the link I guess is the Nova Package version opposed to the Cyprus based Alpha Package.

I'm watching Alpha on Satellite showing the BB Live show while the Net channel has a news program.

It appears that the channel hadn't been fully cleared for transmission and the governing body advised them of this and Alpha after taking legal advice closed it down to prevent sanctions being imposed.

Saying that it lasted for more than 60 days !

That only leaves the daily shows :-(

I think from what I've read that they have a new housemate and that another will be entering on Sunday. It's not easy getting the translations as the Google Toolbar for some reason keeps thinking that the BB Wall on Facebook is in English and not translating the Greek !

Having Watched the daily show tonight they don't have a new housemate but they are using HOH.

They have also just finished the group task with the leaking water barrel with the housemate with the task of sabotaging it.

On Sunday's show one housemate was asked to nominate one of the others to instantly go up for the vote as he was HOH ,but he refused and was himself put up for the vote..

This would be so much easier if I understood a single word of Greek. And if the Google translator didn't get confused on the Facebook wall.

Now to see if they get an intruder during the Sunday live show.
It's Day 70 (Sunday .They are 2 hours ahead) with 6 housemates left.

Last thing they showed was the Snow falling. The Greek news shows the heavy Snow fall the Greece is getting much like we have been getting he ,though they are still moving.

It must be very hard when it's all in Greek. Not even an easy language to guess at really. How did they get on with the leaking water barrel task?

Just watching the recording back from tonight's live show (3Hrs) ,and it's task passed. What I didn't see was that they had to tred Grapes to fill the barrel !
One thing that they showed last night but so have haven't commented on was that 3 of the housemates sealled the barrel using a cup and wax from candles which should have made it air-tight and stopped the leak. And when one of the Housemates tried tonight on the show to get liquid out after opening one of the taps nothing came out so either it was empty or it was air-tight.

The show is long but they have a live task ,an eviction and nominations plus interviews.

That is a long show. Presumably it's not that long every night?
