THE SUN revealed yesterday how DAVID WALLIAMS has been tapped up to be a new judge on Britain's Got Talent with a £500,000 salary.

Well, here's more gossip about other names being linked with a new panel on the hit ITV1 show.

SIMON COWELL swapped numbers with actress PATSY KENSIT and they have been texting to meet up for dinner. Meanwhile, AMANDA HOLDEN is struggling to juggle BGT with playing Princess Fiona in the musical of Shrek. I wonder, I wonder.

Louis Walsh to judge Britain's Got Talent

The Irish music mogul will fill in for David Hasselhoff when the London auditions kick-off in January.

The former 'Baywatch' actor will not be able to immediately take up his new position on the panel because he is finishing off his run in pantomime 'Peter Pan', in which he plays Captain Hook, at the New Wimbledon Theatre.

Louis, 58, will join Amanda Holden and comedian Michael McIntyre for the auditions.

Britain's Got Talent auditions in London

Popular TV series Britain's Got Talent has begun shooting in London's Hammersmith Apollo.

The show is currently in the infamous audition phase which invites members of the public to showcase their unique talents.

This season's judges are actress Amanda Holden, comedian Michael McIntyre and American star The Hoff. However due to The Hoff's prior commitments, X Factor judge Louis Walsh is currently covering as the third judge.

Although today is only the third day of shooting, the celeb panel have already claimed to have been mooned and witnessed a feline opera.

Popular judge Amanda Holden has said that she will continue to judge the series despite being pregnant although is disinclined to name her baby after any of the show's judges adding: "Piers Simon Cowell Holden Hughes! I don't think so."
