8:00pm - 9:00pmOh, we Brits are an odd bunch, aren't we? Take this look at the complex, sometimes uneasy relationship we have with our dogs. The deadpan voiceover by Sue MacGregor of Radio 4 is no surprise: this is from the same people who used Michael Buerk to add a crazy kind of gravitas to Pineapple Dance Studios. So prepare to meet the slightly bonkers owners of a whole host of resigned-looking pooches, from the couple convinced their dachshund Vinnie Jones is psychic to the mother and daughter running a Wag-friendly dog boutique and the dapper chap who does heelwork to the strains of the Wurzels. It's all cheerfully barking, even if it'll make conventional dog-owners cringe (one pooch gets grilled chicken for breakfast, scrambled egg for lunch and bread and butter for supper). One caveat: the surreal canine voiceovers are unnecessary. Believe me, there's enough madness already.
