Louis Walsh 'sex assault' probe dropped by police Louis Walsh has revealed that police have dropped their investigation into allegations that he indecently assaulted a 24-year-old man.
A 24-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of knowingly making a false report to police.
He was detained in Navan town and was taken to Dublin for questioning in a city centre police station, where he can be held for up to 24 hours.
The penalty for such an offence ranges from a 500 euro (�447) fine to five years in jail.
