Four presenters go head to head in a battle to be let out of the dungeon at Warwick Castle!

On October 13th we're going to lock our presenters in the spooky old Gaol at Warwick Castle… and only your donations can break them out!

• Each presenter has set up a JustGiving page - listeners have to vote for which presenter they want let out first by donating

• Presenters need to raise £2,000 each to get let out. As they hit the target they will be released.
• Whichever presenter raises the least amount of money ends up in the dungeon for the whole night! On their own!

Another perhaps more interesting interview in RETOX mag, highlights being she can see an end to her clubbing dj career, but most importantly she's signed a new two-year deal with Kerrang

The girl deserves a for being the best at her job!

Kerrang were nominated for best UK radio station along with BBC6 and BBC2.It was won by BBC6-Kate and some lads went down to London for the awards.
The judges said this in the officials.

The judges enjoyed the humour and energy that is heard across Kerrang's output. With a small team, the station still manages to achieve an ambitious sound whilst not losing sight of the musical passion and lifestyle of their audience. The judges were particularly impressed with the clear vision of the station ensuring a listen that brilliantly targets its audience.


6 Music displays a confidence across its schedule that not only reflects a real passion for music but also a firm understanding of the audience they are broadcasting to. The clear bond shared by presenters shows a station that is enjoying what it does. This is the year that 6 Music has come of age and the judges felt this was reflected in the quality of the output. An outstanding entry.


Radio 2 continues to be Europe's biggest station and the entry epitomised why. There were outstanding moments of key public broadcasting such as the children's writing competition on Chris Evan's Show. The range of output and the ease with which the station can switch from mainstream shows to specialist programmes or from music to speech, are to be commended. Radio 2 is an exceptional station and thoroughly deserves this nomination

Kate is still doing the saturday 7-8 extra slot as well as the drive time 3-7pm.

Left the whole BB universe for a while, mainly due to the boredom of TOWIE and the subsequent hype of Z-Listers and their dreadful 'commercial' ventures in tabloids/magazines.

But, Kate Lawler has tweeted that she's got a Sony Award Nomination for her Kerrang Radio Drivetime Show.
