FANS fled in terror and staff were left injured when a bomb scare hit Big Brother.

Police were called to Elstree Studios after a guest told staff in a bar area he had a bomb in his bag.

Show insiders feared Big Brother celebrity housemates were at risk as the drama unfolded.

A barmaid who was confronted by the alleged bomber was left with her arm in bandages when she hurt herself as she tried to secure the bar, which is used by visiting celebs.

Terrible twins John and Edward Grimes aka Jedward are reportedly on the verge of a breakdown after Big Brother split the pair up for the first time in goodness knows how long.

According to reports in the Daily Star, the usually inseparable siblings are feared to be close to "losing it" as they struggle to cope with not being together, and show psychologists have been put on standby. Yikes.

Speaking of the enforced separation, former BB housemate Tara Reid said: "Breaking them up is their worst nightmare."

Meanwhile, a show source told the paper: "They're hating it. They're never really apart and this is like torture for them. The pair have been monitored closely." Thank goodness for that!
