TASK: CELEBRITY BATTLE OF THE BANDS

Today the housemates will be split up – one half will be become a cheesy 90s boy band, the other a super cool 90s girl band!

Both bands will be creating a music video for an iconic 90s pop hit. The boy band will be making a video to Take That’s – Relight My Fire and the girl band shall be making a video to All Saint’s – Never Ever. The band whose video gets the most hits on the Channel 5 website by 9pm on Sunday evening, will have won the task.

The boy band will consist of: Paddy, Darryn, Lucien and John
The girl band will consist of: Amy, Kerry, Bobby and Edward

How it works:
All housemates will get changed into the costumes provided.

The boy band will be called to the diary room where they shall be played their song, Relight My Fire. They will then be given 30 minutes to practice the lyrics to this song in the small task room, which is dressed as a karaoke booth.

After their practice session they will go into the garden and prepare for their music video.

During this time the girls will go to the diary room where they shall be played their song, Never Ever. Then, they will also be given half an hour to practice their song in the karaoke booth.

After this they will go into the bedroom and prepare for their music video.

When both bands have practiced and perfected their music videos Big Brother will ask them to run through them 3 times. They must also create some amusing individual and group cut-aways using some 90s inspired props.

When both bands have finished their videos they shall be edited and cut together then released on the Channel 5 website on Sunday morning.

The band whose video has the most views by 9pm on Sunday will win the task

Battle Of The Band Winner Announced Ch5

Winners of the Celebrity Battle of the Bands task, Take This continued to rule the roost today. Each band member had some rather specific rider requests which saw Groupies, Amy, Edward, Kerry and Lucien obeying to their picky commands.

The members of Take This have the groupies a large bucket filled with different coloured sweets. Each band member then asked their groupie to separate their favourite coloured sweet from the rest.

Groupie Kerry will remove all red sweets for lead singer Darryn
Groupie Amy will remove all green sweets for Paddy
Groupie Edward will remove all orange sweets for John
Groupie Lucien will remove all yellow sweets for Bobby

When a Groupie has finished, they must bring their sorted sweets to the diary room for Big Brother to check. Successful groupies can then present their idol band member’s with their sweets and return to be a normal housemate again!
