Day 47 9:04am Yesterday’s nominations twist came as a shock to Aaron who received five nominations from the housemates’ friends and family, including Faye’s mum. Faye is in the diary room and tells Big Brother that she has stayed up late talking to Aaron. She says that if Aaron leaves the house she would feel “gutted.” “He’s my best mate here.” Faye says that Aaron has thought about his decision for days: “Whatever makes him happy, I’ll respect his choice.” 10:48am Tom, Harry, Alex and Louise are talking about the relationships in the house. Harry announces he can’t believe Alex and Tom’s romance. Tom ponders whether there was a romance in the house no one knew about. Jay is in the garden with Aaron and wants to get to the bottom of why Aaron is feeling down. He asks if it’s what people had said about him during nominations or what the public may think of him. Aaron says that it’s a “combination.” Jay asks: “Do you think it’s worth talking to Jem about things.” “No,” Aaron replies. 11:53am In the garden Faye is digging further into Aaron’s state of mind and asks him what his “plan is for today.” Aaron says that he doesn’t have one but is feeling “numb” and is not sure what to think. Harry, Jay and Tom are in the sauna, talking about Aaron and Faye. Harry jokes that the relationship has just begun but Faye and Aaron “already need counselling.” Tom comments: “They just don’t click but they’re both really lovely.” Faye and Aaron are still in the garden and she tells him that she will leave him “to think.” Big Brother calls Aaron to the diary room. In the diary room Aaron tells Big Brother: “I can’t get the feeling out of my head, I should be leaving.” He says that he doesn’t understand why Jem has been “messing with my head and saying hurtful things to me.” Aaron is “horrified,” that Jem has said that she wants to leave. “Don’t you think the same applies to you?” Big Brother remarks and Aaron agrees. “That’s what’s keeping me in, people have paid money….” He adds. Aaron tells Big Brother that he has a “10 minute plan,” and explains that he will try not to think about leaving for 10 minutes at a time. “It wasn’t supposed to be like this,” he muses. 12:03pm It has been 10 minutes since Aaron revealed his coping mechanism in the diary room. Faye is in the bathroom talking to Aaron who is having a shower. She tells him that she will wear her glasses more so that he will resist any urges he has. “Although I don’t think you’re the sort of person to ravish me,” she says and mentions that he has resisted the urge for seven years. Aaron reveals that he has felt the “urge” while in the house and Faye looks shocked. “With Maisy or Tom,” she quips. Aaron reminds her of a recent instance when they were spooning in bed. “What then?” Faye shouts, “Crikey yeah!” he replies. For this week’s shopping task three housemates Jay, Jem and Louise have become Punters. Based in the large task room which has been decked out like a bookmakers, the trio will be gambling the entire shopping budget on the outcome of a series of tasks. Housemates will come up against a series of challenges throughout the day. Alex is the first housemate to face a challenge and has been called to the diary room. The Punters have bet that that Alex could manage to eat 21-40 chocolate balls. Alex is unaware of the amount. Big Brother asks her if she has ever been sick as a result of eating too much chocolate. Alex says that she has adding: “Then I ate more to cheer myself up.” She surveys the chocolate tower and declares: “This is mine, this is what I do.” Alex chomps her way through the chocolate but is sick several times. She completes her part of the task by eating 21 chocolates and therefore housemates have won an extra £100 towards the shopping budget. 5:32pm 10 year old Billy has entered the house for the next part of the shopping task challenge. Faye will go head to head with him in a battle of the brains. Led by Jem, the Punters have bet that Faye would not be cleverer than a 10 year old. They look anxious while watching Faye and Billy on the television in the task room. Housemates are in the garden where Faye and Billy are undertaking their challenge. When the scores are tied Jem talks at the screen urging: “Please get it wrong, a normal person would lose.” At the end of the task Faye has proved that she is cleverer than Billy, therefore the Punters lost their bet reducing the budget to £200. 6:37pm So far, Punters have placed three bets winning a pot of £200. Big Brother calls housemates to the large task room. For the next part of the task, Harry will become a fox while the housemates become a pack of hounds. The punters bet that it will take two minutes to remove the fox’s tail. Fox Harry runs across the garden and housemates waste no time in catching him – exactly 15 seconds. “He’ll go down as the s**tiest fox ever!” Tom laughs. The Punters lost this part of the task and the budget is reduced to £150. 7:31pm Jay is in the diary room confiding in Big Brother. “If we get nothing, it’s not worth it,” he says. Jay confesses that he would not be able to cope without food, “It’s not physically possible.” He mentions how horrible he felt when the housemates were living off frosted flakes and limited food. Jay adds that he will sit out the next decision “I want f**k all to do with it.” Back in the task room, Punters must bet on which Karaoke song Aaron will choose to sing. His choices are Don’t Look Back in Anger by Oasis, High School Musical’s Breaking Free and I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor. The Punters cheer as Aaron goes with their choice, Breaking Free. Louise comments: Aaron’s quite handsome on telly isn’t he?” and Jay agrees. Aaron performs in front of his fellow housemates who are gathered on the sofa with blank score cards. Harry holds up his card which displays the message, ‘U R a k**b.’ “That’s his singing career over,” Tom jokes adding that Aaron sounds like “A poorly cat trying to kill itself.” Housemates have doubled their winnings and won a shopping budget of £300. 9:33pm Jay and Harry have been working out for 34 minutes. Louise and Faye are in the living area talking about the nominations from friends and family. Louise asks her if the comments about Aaron have “affected your opinion (of him)?” Faye tells her that she and Aaron have agreed to “leave it for now,” but are still “best mates.” Jem is in the diary room talking to Big Brother about leaving the house. She says that because she doesn’t get along with Aaron, Faye is being “torn in two directions.” Jem admits that she noticed how much Faye enjoyed Aaron’s karaoke, “she seemed to be having lots of fun.” She says that despite this she wants to “protect” her sister and mentions that both her boyfriend Russell and her mother seemed to agree that Aaron was wrong for Faye. “It’s always been about Faye,” Jem comments and tells Big Brother that she has always had to look out “for her feelings, helping her with her body, finding good job opportunities and guarding Faye against people.” Big Brother asks Jem if her decision to leave is a “selfish” one. “Faye’s done numerous selfish things in the past,” she adds. Faye and Louise are in the living area. Louise says that if she were Faye she would be upset by the friends and family comments. “I’m glad I’m not in your position,” Louise admits. In the diary room Jem confesses: “I hope Aaron isn’t the person I think he is; I hope he proves me wrong.” In the diary room Big Brother asks Jem whether she wishes to leave. She replies yes. Big Brother explains it is too late to leave now but she should return tomorrow morning if she feels the same way. 11:37pm Jay is in the bedroom opening up to Louise. He admits that there have been times in the house when he felt he could “kick off,” and has nowhere to vent any frustrations. “I need people to feed my energy, the only person doing it is you” he tells her. Jay admits that when he cuddles Louise “he feels overwhelmed,” but this is not enough as he is used to eating well and working out. Aaron and Faye discuss life after Big Brother and he tells her that despite the nominations “I’d still like to meet your mum.” Faye tells him that guys always “fancy” her mum and describes her as a “MILF.” “I like a challenge,” admits Aaron. Louise confides in Tom about her relationship with Jay. She tells him that she doesn’t feel like she is on the same “wavelength” as Jay especially regarding his food or fitness regime. “I adore him but he doesn’t like me as much.” Tom reassures her and says: “Lads like that are just waiting for the right girl to settle down with.” 01:23am Jem is in the garden. Some of the housemates are at the sofas. Faye tells them that she would like to have children and a 4x4 car by the time she is 30, with her “chosen one.” Tom says that he would wait till he was 30 or 35 then wonders if he will ever be a father. Aaron listens for a short while longer then heads to the diary room. Aaron tells Big Brother that although he “adores” Faye, they both want “very different things.” He says that cars and children come second to “genuine happiness.” Aaron admits that although they want different things “I don’t want it to be the end of us; I really do care for her.”
