Day 51
8:45am
Last night Harry became the ninth housemate to leave the Big Brother house leaving Jay and Louise, Tom and Alex, Faye and Aaron behind. Aaron and Faye are hugging in the living area. Jay and Louise are lying in bed and Jay breaks wind, loudly. “I don’t mind you farting but when it reeks, I don’t like it!” she bemoans and tries to leave. Jay convinces her to stay in bed. Aaron is in the diary room talking to Big Brother about the housemates. “It’s weird that everyone’s paired off,” he says and mentions Tom and Alex’s relationship and how simple their conversations are like, “If you were a frog, what colour would you be?” Aaron loves their sense of fun but feels that some, “night time smooching,” may have gone on. “Tom and Alex, it’s all about the fun,” he remarks. The conversation shifts to Jay and Louise’s relationship and Aaron says that Jay has changed. “They seem to get off on each others wind habits,” he muses. Lastly Aaron talks about his relationship with Faye: “We bounce of each other and I don’t mean that rudely,” he jokes. “Maybe it will work for all three, that would be a lovely ending to the show,” he ends.
9:38am
Tom and Aaron are in the sauna, contemplating becoming the winner. Aaron admits that if he did win “I’d spend the money on my son.” Jay and Louise are in bed getting to know each other. They reveal their dates of birth and Jay mentions her star sign. Louise tells him that she doesn’t think much of star signs and would rather let things happen naturally rather than listen to predictions.
11:54am
Aaron, Alex and Tom are discussing the state of the house. “I think this is the dirtiest house ever,” she remarks and the others agree. Tom says that the house “seems messier with less people in it,” and Aaron thinks it’s because the housemates are more tired. Jay is in the sauna; he has set himself a personal challenge to last for fifteen minutes with the temperature at 90 degrees. He gives himself a pep talk over the duration and asks Big Brother for “some pirate juice, a gym in the task room and a phone call to my mum.” He completes his challenge, heads over to the pool and flops in. Housemates are watching from the sofas. “Did Jay just faint?” Tom asks.
12:16pm
All of the boys have come to the diary room. Big Brother asks them how they feel about being the last three boys in the house. “We’re in a good space with the best people,” Aaron confesses. Jay says they are a “tight group with a lot of love,” and Tom adds: “It’s a bit dry now that everyone has coupled off.” All of the girls are in the bedroom and Louise declares: “We’re all nice girls, all down to earth.” Back in the diary room Aaron says that the girls are “messy.” “They smell like biscuits cos of the smell of spray tan,” Tom adds and Jay says that the girls leave hair everywhere, “like sheepdogs.” Tom mentions the noises that his fellow housemates make at night. “It’s like being in a tumble dryer with all the noise,” then mimics kissing noises. In the bedroom Louise tells the girls that Jay got into bed with her without his boxer shorts on. “I told him to get out,” she adds and says that Jay jokingly accuses her of touching him. Aaron accuses Tom and Alex of being the worst offender of night time noises. “We know what’s going on,” he quips as Tom denies everything.
1:47pm
Big Brother has called one housemate to the diary room. Tom comes and is given the chance to win a secret prize. Big Brother tells him that the task involves cleaning, with a twist. Tom quips that housemates are “living like tramps!” In order to receive a special reward, Big Brother tells Tom that for the next hour all housemates must tidy up the house but Tom must not lift a finger. If Tom is successful Big Brother will reward him later in the diary room. Tom giggles: “I do need a poo so that will probably waste ten minutes.”
The housemates get to work following Tom’s announcement. After moving from room to room looking busy Tom soon feigns illness. Alex and Tom are in the bathroom. When she has her back to him Tom holds a mug of tea to his head then quickly removes it. He tells Alex to feel his head and she is worried at how hot he feels and suggests that he may have “semolina.” “You mean salmonella,” he corrects her. Some of the housemates are in the kitchen and Aaron tells them that Tom may be on a task as he is jumping around the bedroom: “He’s up to something,” he adds. Faye and Alex are washing dishes and Faye advises Aaron to ignore his instincts: “Let’s not speak about it” she warns. Tom is called to the diary room and Aaron looks pleased. In the diary room Big Brother presents Tom with his consolation prize of rubber gloves and a feather duster. “Aaron rumbled you,” reveals Big Brother. “F***king Aaron, the k**b!” Tom grumbles and leaves the diary room. In the living area, Tom is noticeably annoyed “We’ll done Aaron,” he adds sarcastically. “You made it obvious!” Aaron replies. “I hope the next one (task) you have, someone will ruin it for you,” Tom tells him.
4:06pm
For today’s task housemates have become chipmunks. Housemates are dressed in chipmunk costumes and take it in turns to perform a popular song in the small task room. The singing housemate’s voice has been distorted to sound chipmunk-like. The remaining housemates watch each performance via the plasma screen in the living area. At the end of each performance housemates guess which song was sung.
6:42pm
The housemates correctly identified 6 out of 6 songs and have won themselves a Party consisting of a takeaway of housemates’ choice, soft and alcoholic drinks, a selection of music tracks as chosen by housemates, a selection of sweet treats and a bowl of mixed nuts. Some of the housemates are in the bedroom. Jay has been given the instructions with the takeaway and music choices. Most of the housemates chose an Indian takeaway and classic R&B tracks. Aaron tells them that he “can’t stand R&B” and would have preferred the “boy band and pop princess,” music option. Tom tries to convince Aaron that the music will be classic tracks adding: “You’re not very musically open are you?” Aaron announces that he is now in a “proper strop,” and heads into the living area. Jay remarks: “Boy bands, get a grip, he’s not your typical 30 year old bloke is he?” Aaron is sitting by himself in the garden. Alex and Tom are in the diary room talking about the party. Alex confesses that if they did choose boy bands for their music option “I’d still be happy.” Jay tells Aaron “You should have pulled me to one side” to let him know how strongly he felt about the party music.
8:40pm
Housemates have changed in to their special outfits for the party. Aaron is in bed, still determined not to join in. Music plays into the house including the bedroom. “There’s nobody in here, why are you playing it in here?!” Aaron shouts. Faye come into the bedroom and asks Aaron if he is going to join the party. “I don’t really like Indian food,” he replies and continues to lie down.
10:01pm
Alex has come to the diary room and tells Big Brother that there is a nice atmosphere in the house. “Everyone’s got someone they’re really close to,” she beams. Alex confesses that next week will be hard, “When they split one of the pairs up.” Jay and Louse are chatting while facing each other on opposite sofas. She tells him that she would find it “hard,” if he had left on Friday. Jay smiles and tells her that he watches her a lot in the house adding: “I may not speak but I’m constantly watching you, I find you interesting.” Louise smiles and tells Jay that she does the same thing to him, “I think, God he’s fit him.” “F**k off you daft b*****d, you looked mint when you were dancing before,” Jay remarks. “You’re dead pretty,” he tells her and Louise says that he is “unique.” “If I drew my perfect man it would be you,” she admits. “You’re dead sweet,” Jay beams.
10:16pm
Some of the chipmunks have been dancing their nuts off for the past two and a half hours. Aaron has stayed in bed. Seven Days by Craig David is played into the house and while in bed, Aaron lies on his back and moves his fingers in time to the music. He gets out of bed, goes into the toilet and has a private dance in front of the mirror. When the song ends, he heads back in to bed just as Tom enters the bedroom. Tom sits Aaron’s bed and asks “Do you not like Craig David?” Aaron is silent.
11:45pm
Aaron and Jay are at the smoking area talking about the couples in the house. He says that although housemates have paired off they are still a group. They both agree that someone else may have felt “awkward” being around the pairs. “There’s more than meets the eye with Tom and Alex,” Aaron broaches and Jay reveals that he was “watching them like a hawk,” during his time in the crypt. Louise is the diary room confiding in Big Brother. “It will be awful on Friday when one of the pair leaves,” she laments and confesses that she feels “alone” in the house. She says that she doesn’t really “fit in as much” as other housemates despite her closeness to Jay. “As long as I can hear him farting I’m happy,” she laughs. “I don’t feel like I’m staying too long,” she ends.
00:26am
All of the housemates have gone to sleep apart from Faye and Aaron. Faye tells him that she feels awkward because Aaron keeps his distance from her for most of the day yet they are close most nights in bed. “I’m feeling used for night time,” she admits and Aaron tells that isn’t the case. Faye says that Aaron is more “concerned with what people think,” then gets out of bed and goes into the garden.
Aaron remains in bed with his arm over his face. Faye is in the garden sitting on the bridge dangling her feet in the pool.
