Day 57
9:08am
Its eviction day and tonight Faye or Louise will leave the Big Brother house. Overnight, Big Brother removed the £100,000 cash prize. Housemates have no idea that the money has gone. The couples are waking up for what could be their last time together in the house. Aaron enters the living area and notices that the prize money is missing from the case. He returns to the bedroom and jokes: “Check Alex’s pockets, someone has stolen the money.” “Are you taking the p**s?” Jay responds then heads out to investigate, followed by the rest of the housemates. Louise comments: “Who cares, I wouldn’t have noticed it.”
9:40am
The money’s disappearance has not put Alex off from her morning ritual. She is lying in bed, putting on her make up. Aaron has come to the diary room to report the alleged theft of the £100,000 prize money. “I don’t want to alarm you but we’ve been robbed overnight, the money’s gone,” he starts. He tells Big Brother that Louise and Alex “don’t care” and that Jay is determined to investigate. Aaron asks Big Brother if the money had been taken “to pay bills.”
Faye and Tom are on the sofas. Faye asks what he would do if Big Brother said he could take £50,000, but would have to leave the house immediately. “Obviously I would take it,” Tom replies. Aaron returns to the house and quotes: “All will be revealed.” Housemates speculate the reasons why the prize fund has been removed. Aaron asks Faye if she would leave the house now if it meant that she could take £50,000 with her. Faye can’t decide and Aaron grins while telling her: “You’re taking it! See you in a week at Disney.” Louise smiles as Faye tells her not to get “sucked into” the discussion. Jay walks over to the display case and removes the empty case. He carries it across the room and jokes: “They don’t call me Jay McKray bank robber for nothing!” and the housemates laugh. “I’d hide all the silver when you come round for tea,” Aaron quips.
10:18am
Louise has come to the diary room for a chat with Big Brother. “I could be launched out the door (tonight),” she says and describes how she feels about the eviction. She says there are “lots of positives,” about going, like seeing her family: “But it would be good to stay here for the final,” she adds. Louise confesses that she’s had her “ups and downs,” while in the house but is happy that she is “getting closer to Jay.”
Faye and Aaron are in the bedroom under the duvet. She is worrying about tonight. Faye tells him that she doesn’t think she can stay until tonight, “I can’t sit here and worry,” she confides. Aaron dismisses her fears and Faye gets irritable with him. Aaron gets out of bed and tells Faye that she is being “silly and negative.” Jay has been watching and listening from his bed. “I love you,” Faye tells Aaron, he smiles then replies: “I love you too poppet.” Faye tells him that she’s being serious. “So am I,” he replies. When Aaron leaves the room Jay asks: “Are you thinking about walking out?” referring to Faye’s chat with Aaron. “No,” she replies, avoiding eye contact.
2:43pm
Alex and Tom recline in their makeshift beauty parlour, aka bathroom, for a relaxing facial. Faye is in the bedroom making an early start on her packing. The possibility of Louise’s eviction has hit home for Jay. He is under the duvet, crying. Louise tells him that the situation is “heartbreaking.” “I’ll trade that 100 grand for you any day,” he says and Louise tells him not to get upset. She says that she is sure that she will leave tonight but wants Jay to be happy. He becomes more upset and tells her that he can’t talk anymore, but would like them to just “lie here for a bit.” “I feel like you’re going to die or something,” he confesses. Louise reassures him that she will be waiting for him when he leaves the house.
3:47pm
Tom and Alex are out to cause mischief while holding a bathrobe over their heads. They press the diary room door then retreat to the store room giggling. When they exit the room Alex squeals as she stubs her toe. Earlier in the diary room, Big Brother had a burning question for each housemate – which one of them is the clumsiest. They are unanimous in deciding on Alex. “She bangs her toe non-stop,” Louise says and Jay comments that Alex will “trip over her oven her own shadow.” Alex explains her clumsiness, “I think I’ve got that thing when you can’t tell the difference (between things), or I’m just a clumsy b*****d!”
4:18pm
Tom is in the diary room. Big Brother asks: “If Big Brother is like a box of chocolates what would you be.” Tom says that he would be fudge because, “It’s always little and rectangular.” He says Jay would be something solid while Aaron is “caramel.” “Alex would be honeycomb, golden on the inside…. Oh, that it proper cheese on toast,” he winces.
Jay is cutting Aaron’s hair. Aaron has drip of sweat at the end of his nose. All three girls are watching while lined up in bed. “That’ll be your drip soon,” Louise tells Faye and begins to giggle. Faye laughs and Alex looks confused. “Why would it be on his nose though,” Alex questions “He’d have to crawl inside of it.” The girls all laugh as they finally work out what dirty thing Louise is referring to.
5:23pm
Aaron, Alex and Jay have all taken the opportunity to grab a bit of sleep. Faye, Louise and Tom are at the sofas talking about the money. Tom says that there could be loads of reasons why the money has been removed. “Maybe you and Louise get to pick somebody” to receive the money he suggests. He tells them that it would be “obvious” who they would choose. They discuss their fellow housemates and agree that none of them are well off.
7:48pm
Aaron is in the bedroom looking teary. Faye and Louise are in the garden. “I reckon tonight’s my night,” Faye confides. She says that she will miss Aaron and they both say how lucky they are to have found love in the house. When the girls stop talking Faye prays silently with her hands together and eyes closed.
9:55pm
Big Brother has gathered housemates on the sofa for the eight eviction of Big Brother 2011. Brian announces that Faye has been evicted and she hugs her fellow housemates. Aaron looks shell shocked. Faye hugs him last and tells him: “I love you, don’t forget that.” Earlier in the diary room Faye reminisced about her time in the house. “I had a sun cream fight with Mark, me and Tom wrestled, I had a frosted flakes fight, I spent time with Aaron, I’m really proud of who I am.” Faye leaves the Big Brother house.
10:10pm
It’s been 15 minutes since Faye was evicted. Housemates are gathered on the sofas eagerly awaiting her final words. She tells Alex that she is like “My little sister, I love you to pieces.” She advises Tom to keep doing his thing and tells Louise that she is a “sexy little kitten,” who is beautiful “inside and out.” Faye tells Jay that although he can be “crazy,” he is “thoughtful and caring.” She ends with Aaron and tells him: “You mean the world to me, you’re an amazing person,” and says that she can’t wait to start their “new life together.” She ends by bidding them a “bon voyage.” After a short silence a straight faced Aaron comments, “She’s so silly; bon voyage means have a nice trip.”
10:25pm
Housemates have been gathered on the sofas. Big Brother announces that the £100,000 prize money has been divided in half. The winner will receive £50,000 and the other £50,000 will not be divided equally. If housemates fail to reach an agreement the £50,000 will be lost. Housemates decide to split the money up so that they each receive £10,000. Aaron tells housemate that it won’t be that easy: “They’ll try and make if so Jay gets 30, you’ll get 1…” he guesses. The housemates agree to discuss the situation once Big Brother gives them more information. And agree to divide the money equally when they leave. Tom warns them not to “Get your hopes up; it’s not gonna to be that easy. I think they thought we’d start scrapping.”
11:25pm
Aaron has come to the diary room to discuss the new twist. All of the other housemates are in the garden and agree that Aaron has taken Faye’s departure quite well. Jay mentions that Aaron was more upset when Harry left. “That’s because he thought Harry was safe,” Tom suggests. “I still think Aaron’s got it in the bag,” Jay tells them. Tom admits that his only worry after leaving the house is “people in the street being horrible” to him.
Aaron is sitting alone in the bedroom.
12:04am
Aaron and Tom are in the bathroom, talking about the twist. Aaron says that all the remaining housemates would probably be happy to win £20,000. He tells Tom that as a viewer of Big Brother, “You never really understand how hard it is to live here.” Tom tells him that they shouldn’t get their “hopes up,” about the money and says that “the split will not be that easy.” Aaron confesses that winning the Big Brother would mean more to him than the money.
Alex and Jay are in the garden. She says that she has a headache following the housemates’ discussion about dividing the £50,000. “I didn’t have a clue what was going on,” she tells him.
01:21am
Aaron is alone in the garden. Jay and Louise are in the diary room. “I’m buzzing, I’m shocked,” Louise tells Big Brother. Jay rambles about how happy he is and Louise tries to get a word in. “You’re one can short of a 6-pack,” she tells him. “Coming from you, you’ve got a head like a saucer!” he retorts. “Does Big Brother need to buy a wedding hat?” Big Brother asks. Jay says maybe, but mentions that he is not keen on having “five kids,” as Louise previously mentioned. “We’re getting married?” Louise questions. “Only if you behave yourself,” Jay replies.
Aaron is alone in the living room, staring at Faye’s portrait which has been changed to red.
