Day 49: Happy Faye

It’s a new day, it’s a new dawn and a new life for Faye, as she wakes up in what she terms a ‘chipper’ mood. Speaking in the diary room to Big Brother, Faye exclaimed, “Wanted to share that I’m happy for once and that I do have happy mood swings”. She put her new mood down to last night’s shenanigans, saying “Last night had such an awesome night. Had 90’s rave… sorted stuff out with Aaron and then had a little glowstick fight in the bedroom…I’m very happy.”



Yesterday, Jem left the House deciding that she’d had enough of an experience and she didn’t want to hamper Faye’s remaining time. As this is the first morning without her sister, Big Brother quizzed Faye about her feelings towards Jem’s departure, to which she replied “Weird her not being here… If I get saved then that’s when it’ll hit me she’s not here.”



On the subject of tomorrow night’s eviction, she stated that she has never felt as nervous as she does for tomorrow, saying, “This morning, even though I’m in a happy mood, masks the fact that I feel like throwing up”. It seems she has her mind set on the end, adding “I want to be here so bad… I’m so close to the end now”. She also claimed that she hasn’t had enough time to mentally prepare for leaving, after only finding out yesterday that she will face the public vote tomorrow.



It’s fair to say that she’s had an emotional week, after learning her Mum’s thoughts on Aaron, then her boyfriend and sister are put up for eviction, Jem leaves and now she goes head to head with Aaron in tomorrow’s public vote. Phew. At least she’s managed to put a good spin on the situation… for now at least!

The newly-nominated Harry and previously-nominated Aaron had a little talk tonight about their future within the Big Brother House. Both Harry and Aaron appear genuinely worried about Friday’s eviction: but what do they think will end up happening?

After the havoc of the pool party before it, Aaron and Harry took a brief moment in the window to discuss their competition. Aaron prompted the discussion, telling his friend that he wanted him to stay. Harry reciprocated the compliment, before moving the subject onto Jay. The two feel a little wary of the Geordie, despite the fact that Aaron has been voted more popular than him previously.



"I think it’s gonna be between me and Jay on Friday", remarked Aaron. Harry was also worried about him, feeling that he had ‘improved’ since the last vote: he continued to say that "he’s [Jay has] been very strong this week".



Faye wasn’t mentioned much in the discussion: this may have been partly due to his precarious position with Faye, though. Aaron and Harry are clearly quite conscious of the public’s perception of them: but what do you think?

Day 54: Aaron and Faye get shirty

After today’s love stories, you’d think that the House would be full of love and affection. Most of the House has been feeling the love, but unfortunately Aaron and Faye things went a little bit sour around the edges…



The two had a slightly dramatic exchange earlier when Aaron asked Faye if she was going to wear the outfit she'd selected to the love party, which was happening later. Faye seemed to initially take (pretend) offense to the question, asking Aaron if it ‘wasn’t good enough’ for him. But when she walked off to Louise and Alex to tell them that she wasn’t going to wear the outfit because of what Aaron had said, Faye’s tone confused him. He reacted angrily, telling Faye that she was being ‘bang out of order’, as he thought she was being serious - blimey, this relationship stuff isn’t simple, is it?



Faye reacted by telling Aaron that she was obviously joking in telling the girls that she would change her clothes. Aaron wasn’t so sure though, and he assumed his deep-thinking position on the bed as Faye stormed off. Don’t worry if you’re not quite up to speed on what happened here: we didn’t understand any of it, either.



Eventually, the two sorted out their differences, and are now looking forward to tonight’s love-themed party. Will they make it through the night without a hitch, or will there be more trouble in paradise?


Day 54: Reel talk

On this beautiful and fair night, a lot of things have been in the air… love for one, sweet music, oxygen and oh yeah… the truth. Things got rather serious in the garden when Faye, Aaron, Jay and Louise all sat down to have a rather civilized conversation. Elsewhere, Tom and Alex created the polar atmosphere in the boudoir/Love room when they started throwing marshmallows about the place.



Back in the garden, the loved up couples sat down to talk over their time in the house so far, with Aaron mentioning that he can’t wait to watch over all 62 hours of the show. The usual topics came up, with the housemates talking about their entrances, tasks and past housemates. Things got really interesting when Faye said “I can’t wait to watch you and Maisy kissing.” Aaron took it in his stride and kept the conversation upbeat by saying, “You won’t see any of it, it was all under cover.” Louise then asked, “How long for?” to which Aaron replied, “About 15 minutes…” and then corrected himself adding that it was a short time and they stopped when Anton was pointing at them from the bottom of the bed.



Well, once the train had come off the tracks the group saw no point in holding back on Aaron, questioning him about the Maisy / Tom / Faye kissing saga. Aaron took it all rather well and reminding the group that he’d been on a date with Faye, then kissed Tom, then kissed Maisy and then had it blow up in his face, all in one weekend. As soon as Aaron had timelined it all, Faye was straight onto dropping in her favourite word…*“Awkward!”* The group all agreed it was kind of awkward and decided to go back inside for a dance.
