Alex Reid has revealed that he has been offered "big money" to appear in I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! later this year.

The cage-fighter is a former champ of reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother and he recently said that he was going to sign up for another reality show this year.

A source told the Daily Star Sunday that show bosses believe that Alex will prove to be a big attraction for viewers.

They told the newspaper: "Alex was a massive hit with viewers when he won Celebrity Big Brother last year, so all the big reality shows have been after him.

"He turned down most of them because he wanted to focus on films, but I'm A Celebrity have offered an amount he just can't afford to ignore."

Alex believes that he can copy estranged wife Katie Price's tactic of using the show to boost her profile and fortune.

I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! has been thrown into chaos after huge storms threatened the camp at Dungay Creek, New South Wales, forcing its evacuation.

ITV1 staff preparing for the show to go back on air in the Australian rainforest next month were forced out of the camp after a huge storm hit, and bosses are having to make contingency plans in case rain makes the base unlivable for contestants.

Last year's show was hit with the worst ever rain last year, with flash floods hitting presenters Ant and Dec.

I'M A Celebrity beauty Jessica-Jane Clement has secretly got engaged — ruining producers' plans to set her up with Mark Wright.

They hoped the model and presenter of BBC3's The Real Hustle would get it on with The Only Way Is Essex star, 24.

But after jetting to Australia yesterday Jessica, 26, showed the sparkler given to her by celeb crimper boyfriend Lee Stafford, 45. And she revealed they agreed to wed only last week — AFTER she signed up to the show.

Asked if she thought producers chose her only as they thought she was single, she said: "I never thought about it. Have I ruined it now?"

She added: "My fiancé is from Essex so I'm sure I can have that same banter with Mark. I think I will be quite mumsy towards Mark, if anything. He is only young.



"I don't think there will be any flirting though. Lee isn't worried about other guys, but I'm keeping my ring on."

The model added: "I am honoured to be a part of the show. I am so excited — I don't know how I managed to sleep on the plane.

"I am really looking forward to the Bushtucker Trials. I did a bungee jump in South Africa and I loved it so I'd like to do more in the jungle."

Jessica doesn't mind the camp being full of oldies such as Stefanie Powers, 69, and Willie Carson, 68.

She said cheekily: "I love old people. I get on better with them.

"I'll be asking them about the war and stuff like that!"
